The bust was stolen in May 2022 by a gang that was stealing metallic busts in Athens' northern suburbs and selling them for scrap metal. The gang members were arrested about 1 and a half months later, but probably Stelios' bust was never recovered. No need to thank me for the video! It's a small move to honor Stelios - who definitely deserves much more than this video - and a gift to everyone who loves him and his songs. Definitely, Stelios was a unique personality in the music history of Greece and most probably not only Greece. His way of life, his high values, the strong and honest emotions he expressed with his singing and his unmatchable voice make him a real phenomenon that can not be expressed with words! It's really touching that you intend to visit his family home, the place were he was born. I hope your plans come true very soon!
