As someone who just got done with freshman year whose going into sophomore year focus on your classes, get your work done, don't overwork yourself, and you don't need a ton of friends in highschool, get on the teachers good sides and be kind to everyone

i’m gonna be a junior this year and honestly, freshman year was a breeze! as long as you’re on top of your work, asking for help when needed, interact with others, and have fun while doing it you’ll be just fine, i believe. enjoy your first high school experience while you can, i wish i could go back and do it all over again :(
for every1 nervous for entering freshmen year, dont be! it’ll go by faster than you think and you’ll honestly wish you had more time in it. i honestly had sm fun during my freshmen year and it also taught me some stuff for sophmore year (the year im going into next) so honestly, js do whatever you wanna do because no one really cares and you’re there to have fun. good luck on yall’s freshmen year, u got this!

I just graduated high school and still remember my freshmen year😢 I wish you the best in high school! Have fun, participate in sports, clubs, you will meet many amazing people that will make your high school years! Try your absolute hardest in school! Trust me you do not want to fall back in ANY class! Don’t stress too much over school work tho lol wish you the best, good luck :)🩷

I’m going into my sophomore year and all I’m saying is do everything. Go to football, basketball, volleyball, and baseball games. They are all so fun! Also join clubs if you want just do everything you want and don’t miss out on anything! You have four years so make so many friends with all grade leaves and just remember to have fun!

A little bit of advice for freshman year is, your defiantly not going to need all of that. Don’t do a lot of supplies shopping yet n till u get to know your teachers and know what they want. Most of the work is probably going to be on a computer, depending of your school. Minimalize things, a little goes a long way in high school.

Edit: I hope everyone has a good school year, and here is some big sister advice for everyone: Don't date the seniors, it's weird. Don't bully others because you want to be popular, it's not cool, and if someone bullies you or another person, tell an adult you trust. Don't cheat on assignments, it's not going to make you smarter.

i’m a incoming junior and tbh freshman year will be a piece of cake just do decently once u get to sophomore year u do end up getting a ton of work so js be aware dont push urself this year it’ll all be okay join sports do another language colleges rlly look into that😊hoping u incoming freshman a good year!

The flap on the back is to slide it onto a suitcase handle bar when your traveling so it’s easier on your back or to carry baggage

also the flap on the back of the bag is for if ur going to the airport, you put the suitcase handle bar thing through there and the backpack can sit on the top so you can roll it around if that makes sense!
Ima be a sophomore this year just do you best! Turn your school work/homework in on time( i had a lot of trouble doing that last year and my grades weren't consistent) be outgoing, join clubs example(cheer, basketball, football, etc) if u ride the bus be there on time as well if not then still be on time. Make as many friends as possible but not too many.

good luck for freshman yr!! im now a sophomore but the one thing i will say abt freshman yr is dont stress too much bc i did and it rlly wasn't worth it. 9th grade is important, but dont do too much, yk what i mean? and seriously dont get into a relationship. u literally have the rest of ur life and the freshman boys are so immature and they really aren't worth ur time. ❤

Another thing I really recommend having in your bag is a toothbrush, I know it might sound weird, but you never know when you just might need to brush your teeth! Also, try not to worry high school is not a bad as everybody makes it out to be!😂

Freshman year is not as scary as people make it lol, trust me, I was nervous too, but once I got there, it was nothing besides not being able to find my classes. These people on the internet only want to make you all scared. The only thing I can tell you is don't get into any drama, try not to miss many days, and focus on your grades because high school matters the most. It's not like middle school and elementary school; also, do not skip with your friends. It's not worth it, and if your friends are "encouraging" you to skip, please surround yourself with different people. Also, don't be afraid to lose friends; some just come and go. It's going to happen. Just know that it's normal. Enjoy your first year of high school. Have fun. Please participate. :)-sophomore
