    Wow, back to the 'Tribe- bring it on!! I think you could do most/all of this on the Sampler version of the Electribe, there are similar or possibly the same samples (I use the Hoppy snare a lot) and FX.

    First off, it was your Electribe synthwave video that sold me on getting one(I got the sampler version). Also. I was literally just looking up some Electribe lofi stuff this morning, hoping you had some videos on that. The world moves in weird ways.

    Thank god that I was too lazy to sell my Korg E2.. thanks for the dedicated video of using E2!

    I think you should check out the Electribe sampler. You can save a ton of voices/DSP by designing sounds with effects included, and then resampling those sounds for use in the song. It works great for chord stabs and chord pads.

    Another dope vid Gabe! The Electribe definitely seems like it was made specifically for Lofi Hiphop when you use it

    i like the use of 2x of the same kick on two pads but changing the ryhthm of the two tracks. can make some very interesting patterns/grooves this way. im kinda thinking of applying this but with synth patches instead [ambient/beatless tunes] to get some offbeat melodies/progressions. im also toying with the idea of microtuning on the electribe. its not something thats been done yet..... maybe i'll do that one day lol anyway great vid, hope to see some more electribe videos!

    I wonder if Korg will make the jump to an electribe 3. It'd have to have mc101/mpc one/digitakt/circuit levels of features to be relevant today though 🤔

      That would be dope, I'd be first in line to try one.

    Love that baseline. Any swing on the overall pattern or did you only use the groove templates as explained?

      Thanks! If I recall correctly, I only used the grooves.

    Hey, old man from the 90's here, I have a Roland MC 505... would like to upgrade obviously... which one would you suggest ? MV-1 ? Circuit Tracks ? MC 101 ?
    Thank you

      The circuit tracks is great, but I haven't used the others. The workflow is so much fun, no menu diving

    Can you make the same shit on the Novation Rhythm....?

      Yep, I did a video on it earlier this year!

    i hate lofi hip hop show me more dubstep. just kidding of course but show me more dubstep.. i'm finding the lofi beats thing to be all too common these days. ps love your content keep it up

    • @GabeMillerMusic
      @GabeMillerMusic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I make what I want when I want. But yeah I have been tinkering with some dubstep sound design lately that might end up in a video eventually.

    • @hunterfoxen
      @hunterfoxen 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i only said that cuz i saw u make some dubstep bass music kind of stuff in earlier videos about mc-101 and electribe

    • @hunterfoxen
      @hunterfoxen 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i was trying to find your video where u made bass growl patches and resampled them to drum pads but i cant find the exact part again lol

      One thing I like about Gabe is that he isn't locked into one genre and one device only. I love that he makes many different styles of music on a very diverse set of devices. I happen to prefer lofi to trap, but I still enjoy the videos as it opens my mind about the possibilities.
