    On a buged you can always go to Yoshinoya, Sukiya and Matsuya. Gyudon always hits the spot. Even for curry. Wanted to go to CoCo but it was full with a long queue. Sukiyas curry was a good alternative.

    I was in Japan last month, and most common restaurants I went to, was coco and marugame seimen udon. I was in both of them in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. I was also in Hanamaru udon, and for me there was no problem to order something.

    So happy you put #3 on the list! I miss it most of all. Where I live in Canada, we have some pretty decent sushi places, izakaya-style restaurants, ramen shops, etc. but no easy way to get Japanese curry unless I make it myself.
    Yes, Hiroshima-style for life. I will have to check #1 for my trip this fall. My second time coming to Japan so I'm skipping the major cities other than Tokyo this time, but I almost thought about fitting Hiroshima in just to grab lunch LOL.🥢

    The biggest challenge that I am facing for my trip is where to eat safely (I'm allergic to items in almost every food group: grain, fish, fruit, vegetable. I can't eat soy either). At least Coco Curry will give me some options for going out! I note some 7-11 have allergen notes on the shelf by the price in English and Japanese. Natural Lawson interests me because they seem to have a variety of 'safe' foods (dried gluten-free fruits, packets of nuts).
    I know, if I get stuck, there is always a bag of shredded cabbage... but that's not very interesting is it? LOL

    • @NinjaMonkeyguy
      @NinjaMonkeyguy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If i were you the very first thing I'd do is book a food tour with an experience reputable company that would 1) take you to some places that suit your needs 2) give you advice on how to move forward during your trip. If you have a big allergy you should check with the kitchen even at Coco before ordering
