I've been spending too much time inside. I saw it more as a female that keeps picking guys that just use and dump her like trash. And no. I'm not some male feminist. Can't fucking stand feminist bullshit but I see what I see. Also....I enjoyed the show.
😂The poor mannequin was just trying to get her arm back, LOL! It fell off when she moved the drape and he took it up stairs and kept it with him. The mannequin just wanted it's arm😭
That's what the horror genre is capable of. You know the entire movie is fake. You know that ghosts don't exist. You know that a scene showing a mutilated body is still fake and no one was truly harmed...yet... it all seems to real.
I haven't been in a lot of second floors (or first floor if you're british I guess) but the ones I have been on literally are ten times worse than this guy's. I go to my friend's house and we go up the stairs and every time I think "man this is what'd it sound like if I dumped a bucket of metal forks in the dryer
i really like your use of the house’s natural sound to create discomfort. the viewer knows what’s coming so this builds tension between the inevitable antagonist and the main character. well done
"Things in the world" haven't been uncertain for me (or any sane person) at all over the past year and change. Most people just chose to lose their perspective. Nothing anyone is going through is unique. When mannequins start moving around, _then_ it's time to be afraid.
yeah all those crime stories where everybody says 'I thought it was a mannequin floating in the river/laying in the ditch'. etc ..when not once has it ever been a mannequin
Hello from Russia :) Your short film is awesome. I got scared in 4 minutes in total. It's better than a lof of full-length movies Good luck, do it next C:
This was a good short film. The part where the phone goes off and he looks over and then looks back with the mannequin right in front of him was great! 😮
Even though I don't consider modern mannequins to be creepy, because they don't have faces, this still scared the crap out of me. Great work my friend!
I think the Mannequin represents a victim, a victim that this man might've killed, maybe out of self defense, and now it's haunting him via the Mannequin. It'd explain the perspective when the Mannequin gets konked over the head.
If anyone brings a mannequin to my home, imma beat it up into small tiny bits, wrap it up in so many pieces of paper, throw it in the fire and hope that the mannequin don't come back XD
"Don't blink! Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast, faster than you believe. Don't turn your back, don't look away and don't blink. Good luck!"
I love how much this feels like a couple of friends found a mannequin and decided to make a film with it. Almost feels kinda meta, like now you the filmmakers have the mannequin curse for making this movie.
Pick one up as an“Oni”,and the others run away from he or she. You can move only when Oni is covering its eyes saying “Darumasan ga Korinda”. After that,Oni will look back and see you. During Oni is looking back you can’t move at all. If you couldn’t keep still,Oni would catch you soon.
Mannequin has turned into a good theme due to the good deal of horrors I’ve seen since then. Great job by the way.. PS. Why ppl likes mannequin? Fetishized it any dream that hasn’t come true ?
This is awesome ! I love this because it’s scary, but child friendly scary! It’s a big hit w my daughter who’s 9! She loves scary things and all kids who do need chilling stories minus the blood and gore! Thanks so much! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@tinylilmatt Yeah but here like a normal person he closed at night Xd

Mannequin: yo gimme my arm back, AYE...don't hit me im Just chilling, I just want my arm dude!
Honestly glad I'm not the only one who thought this. It wanted it's arm back and maybe to get covered in nice clothing.
If that mannequin just gonna throw away nice blanket and broke its own arm but didn't bother to pick it back up, it deserves getting beaten.
😆

Laz Locks exactly
it shows how with no CGI, no special fxs, no make up it's still possible to startle the viewer. Nice job
He carried the arm of the mannequin along with him.... If I would be there, I would have thrown all the stuff outside my 🏠 house..
I'd rather set the house on fire
Can we talk about how squeaky this guy’s house is lpl

Man, Weeping Angels are scary! Even when they're just faceless mannequins.
I'm surprised that there is only one comment about them)
Just commented above. Even the violin chord to signify a "jump" sounds straight out of _Doctor Who._ It's actually quite blatant...
Actually it's an Auton acting like a weeping angel.
the only reason why i clicked on this video is to see if its like a weeping angel..
@@ѕтоие Literally same!
I like how he sucssesfully defeated that manequin. I thougjt he will fail as always. That guy is a legend
Couple hundred bucks on Craigslist, huh?
If the creaking stairs and mattress were sound effects, they were overdone. If not, that house sounds like it needs help. Solid effort though.
Well hes a big guy and the stairs is made of wood so kinda makes sense i think
Yeah turkeys don't make much sound, in hay, even less.
it's called microphones that pick up a lot of sound 😱
@@spoofHQ Seems like it. I suppose it was either left in because the creators enjoyed the noises or they need a sound engineer.
Remember that it's amatorial

Totally love the mannequin mythos of having to always look at them once they're "attached" to you. I enjoyed this. Good job
Co'on dude she just wants her arm! You never felt how angry one got when someone takes something of you and tries to run??

Oh heck NO! Let me have a mannequin move even once!!! Back by the dumpster in pieces you GO!!
Finally Somebody who instead of investigating, got a weapon and hit that thing and threw it, they also ran out the house too, PROPS TO THIS GUY
