I like this guy. He has a good balance between watching the visuals/choreography, looking at and actually understanding the lyrics and putting his own interpretation to it, and just having a good time enjoying the music. I've been struggling to find a new reactor that can do these things without being disrespectful or disappointing and I think I've found him. Excited to see future reactions man👍
Ok sweetie, ATINY(fandom name) knows you are new to the world of ATEEZ (which stands for Everything for teenagers from A to Z.) And since you are new, ATINY (Stands for ATEEZ and Destiny. The fans are ATEEZ's destiny.) will help you out as much as possible. First off, it's good that you are coming up with your way of hearing and deciphering their lyrics. They want fans to do that. But there is a pattern to it. More like a storyline. A story that they have been working on since they debuted in October 2018. Without getting too deep into the lore, (it would take 3 days and a lot of explaining for that.) I'm going to give you some highlights and the background for this song and video. Their first song was "Pirate King," and "Treasure" followed the next day. Now even though they started with pirates, it's more like an idea or inspiration for what the story turned into. There is Time travel, dystopia worlds, alternate universes, time can be controlled, along with gravity. And they have villains that fans call White Giants. They represent the government that controls the city which they are in, called Strictland. ATEEZ are the "pirates" or "rebels" trying to break control. They do this with the help of something they call a "Cromer" or an hourglass. Both parties are after it, and ATEEZ do get their Hanss on it, and in the process, somehow, (even though not shown yet) does get broken. That is technically where this video, and the previous video "Guerrilla, " come in. Keep in mind, this song and video are a Spin-off from their original storyline. Even their current album is called "Spin-off From the Witness." Now for this video and song. First off the title, "Halazia" is not a person but an idea. You see early on, around their third or fourth song they had a song called "HALA HALA," in their world HALA means Hearts Awaken, Live Alive. However, Hala in Hindu means "Black Mass," or the "Eye in the Sky." That is their moons in the video that you see them trying to bring down, humanly. These Moons have even been seen at their concerts, hovering over the fans. And the second half of the title is Zia. Which means "Light," in both Latin and Arabic. So you can read Halazia like this, "Bring Light to the Black Mass." You see an idea. The cromer is broken in this video, you see one of the members sitting inside of it watching the sand going up, which tells us that not only has time stopped, but their gravity has been affected as well. Which is the main reason why the sand particles go up, not down. One of the rappers also talks about being stuck between now and future generations during his rap. And they speak about the chains, which is what you see on another member as he is walking. The scarecrow is dressed like their alter-ego "HALATEEZ," which is burned. I believe that in thos Spin off there is no Halateez to save them, they have to rely on themselves to do it. They have to find the strength. There is a Korean-American couple that are reactors. When they watched this video, they broke down the lyrics even more and explained that the rappers (both of them) were ending their raps Luke they end their prayer in Korean. So I guess you could say that between that and the chant at the end, they were praying to find the strength. Finally, in the end, four ppl on the roof, those are the witnesses they need to go back and tell others that there are some ppl willing to sacrifice themselves to protect and save others. That would be the member at the end that gets hit with the Black Mass. And I don't know if you saw or heard the bird that flew over those 4 ppl. That was the Bluebird that they talk about in the song, and how it's lost its voice. The last song on their current album is called "Outro:Bluebird." I know this can be overwhelming, but their storyline is really good, which is why some fans are so attached to ATEEZ. They connect all they songs, live stages, and even concerts to their storyline. And keep in mind if you choose to go down this wonderful rabbit hole of ours. You should watch their videos in order, even though we have been told the videos are not for the storyline. Also the captain (the leader of the group, main rapper Hongjoong) has also said, that even though they have been doing this for 4 years now, we haven't seen 1/3 of the storyline yet...that's how big and detailed it is. I want to apologize for such a long post. I wanted to give you some info, but my mind runs away with it sometimes. If you would like more info on the storyline, several ATINYS have videos and pages and pages of theories and explanations on all of it... you could also look into a guide or two about the guys themselves so you can get to know them. Good luck, I hope it helped, and here's hoping you look further into ATEEZ and their music, they are crazy. But they are an amazing group and storytellers.
I like the way how the reaction Videos are made, even the interpretations. In Kpop its somtimes hard to just do rections cuz the most bands have created their own worlds and storylines and creating their mvs and music arround and inside this world, so just rect to the mvs is good, going into the storyline and more is in my opinon anything that can end with 3 endings. 1 You join the fandom with no way out, 2 you going back and just enjoy the music, 3 you start to dislike it cuz of diferent reasons.
Thank you for reacting to Ateez! It's so funny how you said the video looks like something out of a made up universe, because it is! Ateez (pronounced aye-tease) actually have a multiverse (universe A and universe Z) in their lore and this music video takes place in Universe Z, which is a dystopian society they are trying to free. They travel dimensions and time. Like someone else mentioned, Halazia isn't a woman but the new name for the original Ateez from Universe A. They assumed this named when they arrived in Universe Z. The alternate version of them, from Universe Z, is called Halateez/Black Pirates and they led a resistance against the government until something happened and they needed to pass it on to Ateez to continue. The desperation for Halazia was intended. This single album was a spin off from the original storyline and in the point of view of a witness(es). So it is kind of like a cry or plead towards Halazia (Ateez) to 'be the light' in their cold, grey, and dark world. Every tiny detail in the music video and lyrics directly relate to the lore and connect with all of their other mvs and songs, which is why their lore extremely extensive! I hope to see more Ateez reactions! Some suggestions are: Hala Hala, Guerrilla, Wonderland, Fireworks, The Real, Thanxx
Definitely gonna watch more of your videos. I like the way you interpret the lyrics. They feel so...idk they just feel so like relatable in a sort of way. Thank you! Because for the first time in a while I've found a person who actually enjoys listening to kpop without criticizing or just doing it for clout. 😊
I need more.. PLEASE. i really liked your reaction and I’ll subscribe to make sure i won’t miss your next ateez reaction. thank you so much for reacting to our boys. i don’t know how far you are but they’re currently dropping teasers for their new comeback. you should totally check them out, as well as some other mvs! if you want to get into the lore, I’d suggest you to start from the beginning and work your way up but if you just want to enjoy the music, watch something that you think you’d like. something you should know about them is that they’re very versatile and cover everything from ballads like turbulence, to hiphop songs like the leaders and literal anthems, wonderland for example. also, ateez is very strong in performances and known as the performer idols. you only get the full experience of a song after seeing how they performed it live, honestly. their overall theme is ‘pirates’ but honestly a better definition would be freedom seekers. they’re a very fun, chaotic group with humble members and are the best role models ever. this is my first time seeing you so i don’t know what you cover on your channel, but if you react to funny kpop moments and that stuff too, they’re your people! here are some suggestions, i didn’t include all but enough to give you an idea. faster, powerful songs: wonderlnd, guerrilla, thanxx, fireworks, pirate king, hala hala slower, but not really too slow?: treasure, inception, answer, deja vu summer type of music, bright: illusion, wave, eternal sunshine there’s so much more to say but let me stop now. i was originally just planning to show my appreciation but look at what it became 😭😭
this is crazy cl - post up cl - chuck cl - tie a cherry cl - hello bitches jessi - cold blooded jessi - what type of x itzy - wannabe hyolyn - dally psy - daddy psy - gentleman jyp - switch to me jyp - fever killing voice - bigmama flim : kai kai - mmmh dance practice 2015mama - bigbang 반응해 줄래
