From a young age, USAGI had interest for music and started playing the piano and drums. She started her career as a drummer while attending Osaka University of Arts which she graduated in 2017.
As a drummer, she collaborated with both indie and mainstream Funk / R&B / Hiphop artists. Eventually her focus shifted from just playing the drums to "The Fusion of Music & Technology" and turned to playing MPC.
As a MPC player, USAGI works in wide range of areas such as providing beats and tracks for other artists, supporting live performances, and joining circuit events. Her use of MPC Live brought new possibilities and additional values to performing live.
In 2019, she formed a beat making group "Juicy Hip Apartment" releasing their first digital single, "One Time" later that year. In 2020, she released her first solo single "Wa" from the music label KSR.
She is also active as a Tech House DJ and despite the fact that she is new in the scene, her playing style is highly appeciated and has enabled her to collaborate with many DJs from overseas.
Having been influeneced by genres such as R&B, jazz, hiphop and soul, she has converted her music into her own distinctive style.
USAGI is a new comer who will definitely take an important role in the future music scene.
