That red ball at 3:56 is being held up because there is no proper undercut on the rubbers . The bottom edge of the rubber is still square when it should be concave . That would assist the ball to drop . 6:28 you can see there is no undercut , the rubber nose is fully square , Wrong ! It should be cut concave from half the nose width down .
I dont know, but this was more like Ford being a less skillful player than Ronnie turning it around. Ford made some really lame club level shots there. So many players out there who could easily won this 5-2 or 5-3 from the positions that remained after Ronnies mistakes

The commentators seem really concerned about Ronnie's "outburst" of a little temper. I think he new EXACTLY what he was doing: To play a "hit and hope" at that stage is of course somewhat outrageous ... but Ronnie wasn't! He made it LOOK like that ... to make his opponent a little rattled or nervous! Ronnie new EXACTLY that he wouldn't leave any reds with that shot! Just a guess ... I have watched him a lot, and he is simply an "old hand" in this game.
