Shlomo didn’t follow anybody, although he was close to a lot of people. Additionally, I knew Reb Shlomo and he didn’t transgress Halacha, though he had taken positions about women prayer and singing that differed with some conventions of the time. We should enjoy their legacy and be grateful for their contributions.
