Like so MANY Band Maid songs, there is SO much going on behind the basic melody...layer upon layer of exquisite guitar and vocal work. The unassuming genius of Kanami at work yet again ! (Contributions of the other Maids are icing on on the perfect cake ! )
When you I saw that you had a live version, I didn't realise that it was this version with the Misa and Kanami tapping intro- absolutely fantastic. Was this the 2019 tour.
Best song on the album, I have it on vinyl and you can tell just by looking at it that it's the most played song from being scratch so much. And this is my favorite live version too, absolutely killer.
The blast beats, the lead vocals, Miku's response vocals, the great lead sweeping, the rhythm chugging, MISAs bass fills, that solo...oh yeah, this is BandMaid.
No matter how many times Kanami "paints a picture" the brush strokes match the previous version ! It's a pleasure to live in times of such musical artistry and creativity !
@@react-o-mat My four all time favourite songs are Stairway To Heaven, Comfortably Numb, While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Anemone, no coincidence that they are all on the more mellow side and oddly either lyrically or instrumentally quite sad but of course have brilliant solo's. I should also add The Bluest Blues by Alvin Lee which features a beautiful slide guitar solo by his mate George, also thematically similar. Kanami's final solo in Anemone reminds me of Alvin Lee funnily enough.
Hi my little cutie-pie! Next one is one of my favourites - a great old fashioned rocker "Turn Me On". Here is a great live at Zepp Tokyo put up by evanc. I adore Miku's backing vocals on this one! th-cam.com/video/l9ibUQ-V-Z4/w-d-xo.html
Band-Maid is quality and they simply do not make bad music. I, personally, do not support any one album over any other because they are snap shots of where the band was at the time of each release and they are still a work in progress. However, if push came to shove, l think this is still my favorite of all. The album is nearly flawless in concept and execution. World Domination is a very bold statement. This album lives up to that bold statement.
Totally agree! That's why I do album reactions and not just random songs, so I can experience a band/artist at a certain point in time and see how they evolved/changed. That being said, I just enjoy their original music more than the songs that were written for them, even though they are still good songs ;)
@@react-o-mat l appreciate your reactions. And l can't say the same about the majority of "reactors" on TH-cam. We all tend to want our favorites to be considered the best because it then reflects on our spectacular good taste. I am as guilty as anyone. I want my subjective opinion to carry the same weight as objective fact when it simply cannot. That being said it still is gratifying to me to have what l really like be considered as "top shelf". Keep doing what you're doing. Sacramento loves Band-Maid.
CLANG 🔔💥🔨 It's a HIT! Thx, Benedikt!
Clang Rocks!
This songs drives the whole way through, a classic Band Maid banger!

Clang is a highly underrated song and needs to be better known. I wish they would have left the original live recording up.
World Domination is also my favorite album of Band Maid (Only beaten by the Band Maiko album), especially for Rock in me, Dice, and Daydreaming :)

This song is very underrated but belongs to the top tier Band-Maid songs, imo!

"This may be my favorite BandMaid song," said by everyone each time they hear a new BandMaid song.😆
True, but so far there was none that could rival mirage for me, but this is the first one that actually does 😉
Iove this song!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Great tune by Band-Maid! Bro it gets better and better with this album! Though I love their heavy stuff, I must say Anemone is my number one song!!
No argue from me over your choice of number 1, it is for me too
Anemone is absolutely awesome!
Now I am excited about this song 😋
@@react-o-mat It's a classic. It's absolutely beautiful. Plus there is a Band-Maiko version too.

@@sacluvsBM Thank you!
I'd say it's just human to want to 'fit in' and someone else liking what you like too is kind of an affirmation of that ;)
🤘✌
This moment is why Band Maid live is MUCH better than any music from their albums.
Yeah I feel whatever studio did the album recordings doesn't respect Bass players and did MISA a disservice.
