The main complaints about the new legendary weapon don’t actually come from the abundance of updates and the player base is mostly grateful for the updates. It’s how far Deepwoken has strayed from the original game which was promised to us. They weren’t even planning to add conquest and chime to maintain the atmosphere of the game, and the aesthetic which the game had built up pre-release has slowly eroded in the eyes of the players with additional of weapons like the new flame legendary, other features like anime references and such.
I'm pretty sure the only ones complaining are the little kids who only know how to complain because the game in general is in a more balanced state than it was when the game released

The original game was an openworld exploration game with hardcore mechanics, which is awesome, but ultimately its a MULTIPLAYER game. Everyone has seen everything the game has to offer. There's no "awe and fear" anymore. So what does it have to do to keep going? Focus on its biggest core mechanic, its Combat. Its really not that deep. Yayafino just fumbled big time with this over fucking tuned weapon, when it should've been tested WAY before release.

frostdraw has the Cool Head talent which makes them immune to being set on fire for a set period of time which is why im assuming that one guy wouldn't burn if i remember correctly the cold breath you can see coming from his mouth is the indicator that this is active not sure tho been playing type soul
