I honestly plan to stop eating out as much in 2025! When I look at my statements in 2024 majority of my spending is food! So definitely will be cooking more & buying groceries more!!! No more eating out or possibly setting a strict budget for eating out.
For the costume jewelry, I use the clear rustoleum spray. It prevents the jewelry from fading as fast as it usually does. It works well for the earrings. And I love my capsule wardrobe 🙂
Something that my husband and I are hoping to do next year is to purchase 1/4 a cow and 1/4 a pig to cut back our meat spending at the grocery store. I'm also hoping to continue to build our pantry up so that I can cut our grocery bill. Obviously we cut groceries out completely but I'm definitely hoping to cut costs there. I'm also hoping to purchase a new phone (still hanging with my iPhone 11 that I can't hear with anymore) but once I purchase that I plan on keeping it until it can't be used.
I just started the video, but you are the 3rd person I ever heard who said to purchase some of animal in that bulk. I have never thought of it and I think I may do the same with some of my tax return.
Eyebrows I cut back too…also i never got into the whole skin care treatment 🤷🏽♀️if i spend money on beauty it would be my pixie cut with that I have learned to cut my hair until my next salon visit.
Looking to 2025, my goal is to cut down on food deliveries drastically. Circumstances made it necessary this year, but the amount of money I have spent having fast food delivered to the house is unreal. I’m looking forward to getting back into cash envelope stuffing and zero-based budgeting.
I remived uber eats and amazon. 2023, I spent just over $10k in Amazon, Uber Eats, and Target. 😬 This year, especially these next few month's is just eating down my pantry/fridge and using up daily hygiene. My goal is to do quarterly restocks of consumables and not shop clothing at least the first 6 months.
I am reducing spending on food. I eat out way too much though I have spent tons of money on Hello Fresh and groceries. I canceled my Hello Fresh subscription and started shopping at Sam's recently. I buy things I can fix quickly on days I don't feel like cooking to avoid eating out. Buying in bulk is really saving my coins. I plan to get an up to date inventory list so I now what we need and won't buy multiples. I will also need to reduce clothes and shoes spending.
I’m a natural hair girlie and wear a wash and go just about every day. I stopped purchasing products in May and I’m using up my stash. I may need to purchase shampoo because I shampoo my hair every 5-7 days but that’s it.
Another great video...I agree with directing spending into experiences. For next year definitely food spending will be where we continue to be mindful..my stomach and my wallet are happier lol
I am not sure when I first started following your channel. And you were designing and selling your own brand of stickers. Even back then you struck me as always forward-thinking. Thanks for sharing your lifestyle.
Funny you mention it because I’m kick starting a new and improved health journey as of TODAY! I’ll share details once I work out all of the kinks! But not much has changed with me since my last update 😅🥲
I have been using notebooks that i already own instead of more inserts for my favorite a5 ring binders. I have the Japanese style 20 ring binders. This bujo style is my fave now. I am almost done with a notebook so one year in one book. My put is always scratching. We are supposed to be switching from carpet. My husband forgets to give him his allergy meds so he runs and lays outside without meds and no shirt. So i am like i need a doggy daycare bcuz this teat child aka pit got me nervous girl
@ okay, that makes sense! I started thrift shopping to build my fall capsule wardrobe without overspending. I also buy from ASOS which has really good sales on higher quality stuff every so often!
Thrifting is an excellent idea! I have never enjoyed clothes shopping and since there are so many options on Amazon (and it’s easy to return items), I’ve just been shopping there. In fact, everything that I’m wearing in this video is from Amazon..from head to toe 😝

I use a liquid cuticle remover now but that’s the only new thing I’ve added since filming that video.

This is a good list, going to try to incorporate in 2025
Great info, thanks.

Any tips on where you get your clothes for quality pieces?
Mainly Amazon. I don’t like to shop so I hardly go to stores but every now and again I may find a nice piece at Target, Kohl’s, Torrid etc.

great video. May I ask how many pieces are in your capsule wardrobe?
Last I checked, it was at 45. I’ll have to wash up all of my clothes and recount them to see exactly where I am right now lol 🤪
