- The Fendt IDEAL 10T features a MAN 16.2l engine with a maximum output of 790 hp. The 10T’s rotors in the dual helix processor are each 24 inches in diameter and nearly 16 feet long. This combine has a grain tank capacity of 485 bu. And unloads at a rate of 6 bu. per second. IDEALdrive, the first joystick steering system on a combine from a major manufacturer, is an option on the IDEAL 10T and all IDEAL TrakRide-equipped combines in North America. Eliminating the steering wheel and column gives the operator an unobstructed, end-to-end view of the combine header.

Those Fendt Ideal combines are way less then ideal! I know Farmers who had them and oh my are they ever built with cheap soft iron! Reminds me of the Versatile 2000 pull type combine that came out in the mid 80s, great concept just built with very soft iron! I was a Mechanic at a Versatile dealer when they first came out.

The joystick gives the operator much better visibility. I'm sure that will be an option in all combines soon. Awesome video Jason.
I expect we will see it more and more. So far Fendt is the only brand since model year 2021.

@@jimdahlgren5758 are neighbor has a brand new Fendt and he absolutely hated it, said he had somany issues with the electronics and he wasn't a fan of the joystick steering.
This combine is included in Farming simulator 22. It comes in fendt and Massey Ferguson branding and is massive. It's also one of the more expensive combines the player can buy

that was strange looking in the cab without A steering wheel. Looks like it take a while to get used to that.
With that color scheme, they could call it "The Grim Reaper!"

Why only 40ft head weve been running 45 on the class 8 combines.
Man those things are nice. I just wonder how they are to road with the joystick. I mean surely it’s angle limited on steering when you’re roading it so you can’t cough and turn the back wheels to the max.
I have talked to farmers about the roading. No issues. Well one you can’t take a drink from your bottled water that is in the cup holder on the right side.
I hope the Combines work better than the Fendt Sprayer! Mine is a POS!

What is the advantage to having tracks on the drive axle in place of dual tires?

Lower ground pressure than wheels and it's slimmer. Very important if your country has width restrictions or narrow roads.
Wow! And the flight to wherever for an oil filter would be great!
Oil filters are available at my local AGCO dealer winch is 5 miles from this field. Customers who buy an Ideal get service and fluid changes like the regular oil changes free for three years from AGCO.
