I am fascinated by this music. I try to think that it reveals a secret for me, something I didnt know. And so I dont start with an antagonism for this music, but with an open mind. And yes, I find it also beautiful.
Sorry, this is not music. It sounds like giving a group of kindergarten children instruments for the first time to play with. Just random noise. But good for a horror movie, show.
I'm assuming you tuned off during the first few minutes - which is perfectly understandable. Some cut-and-paste context regarding this work: "Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina's Fairytale Poem can be seen as an allegory for life under an oppressive regime and how a child's piece of chalk can be a metaphor for imagination unchained from such constraints." I'm still trying to determine if I "enjoy" her music. Performances like this are winning me over - slowly. Best wishes from Vermont 🍁
Wonderful, loved it. A genuine psycho-physical pursuit of values in sound. Modern classical music.
These 'kindergarten children' seem to enjoy themselves very much making very intriguing music.
