I played russian & german top tier for a while (Shiilka, BMP2M, T64B, T80B and Gepard, Begleit 57, Kpz70, Leo 2 PL) Never had any issues as long as i had a few supports, at least 1 kill or capture, i at least never made negative. The best thing to do is buy the russian premium T72Turms, it is a real earner, especially because the only competitor is the chinese tank, it is basically the same as the Turms, maybe a bit more survivable, thus also a true earner, sadly the western nations have nothing in the same BR, probably germany with the premium Leo 1 A5, or the Leo 2 PL if u put a Talisman on it, they are just not as surviavable. The other top tier premiums kinda suck, the XM1 is ok-ish but u get clapped very fast and everything with a 105mm gun is underpowered in my opinion, 120mm is the way to go, but no true high BR tank available sadly.

I love the t-90 and all the variants. Yes I don’t agree with Russias actions but that isn’t related to the t90, I really like the Ukrainian and polish versions of the t90. They are very cool!
That all really depends, actually. Theoretically, the T-90 can shoot a bigger HE or HEAT shell than the Abrams, but the Abrams can shoot longer and therefore more powerful APFSDS rounds due to not being constrained by an autoloader.
@tackytrooper There is a issue with that. Russian tanks have much higher muzzle velocity then NATO tanks, there's that to consider. Also since sanctions no longer work? Russia has been rapidly updating everything and have caught up and surpassed NATO standards.

imo, in this modern time, there's no more supperior tank like in ww2 when Tiger I first came out. leopard 2a4 got wrecked in syria, abrams too in middle east, etc. challanger 2 only destroyed once by friendly fire, but the point is, it still got destroyed with 120mm gun and pretty much any mbt these days use 120mm. so yeah, it role used to be infantry support during WW2, but this modern day, when the weapon getting more advance, i kinda hard to see tanks role anymore

You see, War Thunder has no infantry squads all over the place, unlike what's happening in real life. Any tank will get destroyed in environment, where every enemy dude is armed with NLAW, Javelins, RPG-7, RPG-28, AT-4, KonkursM and etc. it's just unavoidable. By the way, Ukraine is loosing it's T-64 and T-72 every day with crazy rate as well, in tank vs tank engagements russians almost always win. The only T-90m russians lost in Ukraine was destroyed by russians themselves, to prevent ukrainians from capturing it.
Design of T-90 is (I think) the best among Russian MBTs, but I don't like it cuz it has terrible turret rotation(with 72A,B, 80U), and stupid Reverse Speed.(Like other 72 series.) But its kinda good, cuz it has sturdy armor(especially turret) and Good Ammunition, IRCM(but most of top tier ATGM couldnt be stopped)
lol javelin is useless in urban combat, and this shit can't be used in critical situations, and now it works with frequent misfires in Ukraine, well, this is reality)

I have a contrary experience on 5.7, URSS give 2x xp than germany.
sl boosters for all allies, the only reason why you get extra sl.
