I've always watched Star Trek TOS. I was born in 70's and my stepdad was a bubba... hunted, fixed cars, spoke with a twang, smoked, chewed, watched NASCAR and he lived the SH+T out of Star Trek. And whenever it was on tv, we watched it. People from all walks of life watch it. Gary with Nerdrotic once said that when he was in prison, when The Next Generation was on, convicts from all walks of life stopped what they were doing and watched it together. Fascinating.
you are right he did tell the same exact story but back then he was on The Tonight Show where Joan Rivers used to substitute for Johnny Carson this is her own show which didn't last very long

Either it was really an amazing life changing story for him or he just keeps repeating it several different times through the years "interviews" with nothing else to talk about? I guess this way he can engineer the interview to go his way? I love the guy but I'm like the same story year after year for like 10 years come on?

Joan should have taken over for Johnny instead of Jay. Nothing against Jay, but Joan is a better interviewer. In my opinion.
