The cars were build by different teams. The 406 that drove in germany were pure french works cars build in france, the british ones not that much. Also the peogeots were famous for beeing supperior on fast and flat tracks (STW ran on quite a few real airport tracks) while the BTCC has a lot of rather twisty and bumpy tracks that reward high downforce. I prefer BTCC all the way.

@@pokefrosch617 did the German run Peugeots have more powerful engines? That was something which the British Peugeot did suffer from.
