Anyone that can swing so well and so fast is going to have good numbers with any driver just give them the correct shaft and set at the correct loft and Bam. All drivers have the max COR so no difference there.
When 2024 drivers released Ai smoke was my last choice until I went for a fitting session! Out of all the 3 new drivers from cobra, Qi10 & Ai smoke the Ai performed consistently with variety of shots I’m glad I went for a fitting session.. can’t wait to play with my Callaway ☝️
The marking was much more than 1°. My guess is, martin hits it with a slightly closed face or/ and with a draw in to out or whatever his natural tendencies are, and a flat lie compensates just perfectly. Stay with natural swing and take whatever club gives you desired numbers.
I’m interested in that. He said he hits about 100,000 drives a year. I’m actually curious what the actual number is. It’s probs close to that if not more
Martin, come out to Utah this spring and play Thanksgiving Point (7,714 yard Johnny Miller). We have a guy from the alps tour coming out who can hit 200 mph on-course while playing. You probably know him.

I think most of the top guys do too Rory loves his Ventus Black and sticks with it The heads are so defined now between forgiveness and spin in the different models and there are so many settings that can be used I'm a 1K White guy and no matter how many shafts were put in my hands during my TSR3 driver and 3 wood fitting the fitter could not find a better fit for me. I just love the way it releases. It makes me feel like I have to wait at the top which in turn makes me less snatchy and faster at the bottom. In 10 years time I might change shaft if things don't stay the same. Henrik Stenson famously has a lifetime supply of Grafalloy Blue original shafts and had them in his woods and drivers up until 2021
Interesting.....it seems to me that all of the driver adjustments are there to compensate for a faulty swing. (not just this driver, every driver over the past 10-15 years) Instead of adjusting the club to a faulty swing, why not just get lessons to correct the swing using a normal driver ( or an adjustable driver with neutral settings)?
The TPT Nitro golf shaft is pretty special. And it's interesting that Martin is playing the nitro 18 which is intended for a 85mph golf swing, and out of warranty at 150mph. haha. But this shaft allows long drive guys to play much lighter staffs and have more flex while still allowing for accuracy, because there is no spine. So the head doesn't oscillate off axis.
