churches in macedonia

Visiting old churches is part of the tourists experience in Europe, but I decided to take it to a new level in Ohrid, Macedonia and see how many of the town's 365 churches I could see in one day. This is the story of my experience as told on my radio show, "National Geographic Weekend"

In Orthodox Church, you don't "sit and listen" to a preacher's opinion. You hear, see and practice only what is writen in the Scriptures -- "sola Scriptura", as the Protestants profess but, as the Orthodox more faithfully have been practicing for two-thousand years! Pews would be in the way of truly practicing the Faith as it's written in the Scriptures and, the Orthodox Church truly do believe that we should, as the Evangelical hymn proclaims: "Stand Up For Jesus!".
