I didn't even know these kinds of templates were on capcut, since I myself is a after effects editor and in ae you have to create pretty much everything from scratch unless you use other peoples presets or pfs.
I’ve gotta point out, capcut is ruining editors hardwork ALOT since they started releasing templates. I was shocked when I saw that and so annoyed because there’s many people who are depended on capcut templates and openly ignores the hardwork editors put in. I’m so sorry Lauren you had to go through this. I’m mad as Lauren is like my inspiration in editing community for years now and she had to suffer this. I started using capcut like in 2020-2021 due it had cool frames then later they added some transitions which was cool and quite easy for many people but now it’s just gone worse. I as videostar user knows the dedication we put in our edits and capcut templates is lately making all EDITORS downflash the time, hardwork and recognition.

I understand your frustration and how it's unfair for editors who have been editing for years that now it seems like you can blow up basically with anything you edit. But I love your videos so crazy much, your my inspiration that I want to edit even though I just use CapCut. I feel you sm girl, my professor playdate edit went viral in the pandemic and people stole it without giving me any kind of credit, claiming as there own and covering my watermark and that's why I quitted editing, hopefully I can go back to it when I have more time but yeah is so sad. templates remind me of ai art. anyone can do it and claim it as theirs. it sucks. i remember arguing with people about them trying to claim using templates as editing and the whole situation just makes me mad. i’ve been an editor for over six years now and all of my edits took hours, days, weeks to do and that fact that people can just use a template and be like “oh yeah i’m an editor, i did this. blah blah.” it makes me so mad. editors spend so much of their time making stuff that they actually enjoy doing and people trying to claim a template that they imported pictures into as theirs is so stupid. then on top of that getting views off of it while some smaller editors don’t even get past 20.

i’m so sorry this happened to you lauren! unfortunately this type of template use/stealing has been a problem with these apps for years( not hating on capcut specifically but there were so many others back in the day like vinkle etc) and i remember first hand seeing my friends edits made into templates and stolen on these newer ‘editing apps’ (most of them were rly just template apps not actually editing apps) and nothing was ever done :( i hope you can get this resolved! but tbh it is becoming a large problem in general now but not a lot of ppl notice it

Editing is a very difficult ability to master since as an editor on AE/other editors produce theirs by hand, therefore it is very difficult when people just make templates of other people's edits and basic ones. pretty annoying Even well-known content creators simply add it and are finished. I don't think I could ever be good enough for someone to steal my edit like that and use it as a template, but I spend SO much time and effort creating my edits although they might not be amazing, and if this happened to me I would be just as upset as you are. CapCut as well as other apps should feel sorry for their actions, and I hope that CapCut will reply back to you and take down that template and apologize.

Editing is a very difficult ability to master since as an editor on AE/other editors produce theirs by hand, therefore it is very difficult when people just make templates of other people's edits and basic ones. pretty annoying Even well-known content creators simply add it and are finished. Anyways all editors that make things from scratch from any program, stay strong and proud you are amazing
ughhhh I've been an editor for years now and I've had people steal my edits back then but THIS.... is another level of frustrating. The fact that you've never agreed to this and aren't credited ANYWHERE is..... girl if you can: try to sue if they don't do anything. imo they should delete the template and all the videos that came out of it or give you a financial compensation at least...... good luck with this, hope u get the recognition u deserve and that there will be more rules and justice for all editors!

i’m so sorry this is happening :( the fact that all the effort you put into this edit is going towards capcut just for some green screen tracking really sucks. and it’s awful that they continue to allow this to happen. i hope capcut listens to you and takes the template down

i used to be a capcut editor and still occasionally do for some parts of my edits. I had a feeling these templates were stolen because for an app like capcut, they could never make things like that. I’m so sorry this has happened to you, honestly you could actually sue them depending on the circumstances
Ok what happened is CAPCUT dose not make the edits and put them in template its tge people on the internet do that its user fault who stole the edit and blamed capcut just they wouldn't get in trouble

it’s so sad that CapCut took it , it’s an ae edit which Lauren made , originally , which is so unfair. People use the template and use Lauren’s original work which she DIDNT approve of it being used.

I don't think I could ever be good enough for someone to steal my edit like that and use it as a template, but I spend SO much time and effort creating my edits although they might not be amazing, and if this happened to me I would be just as upset as you are. CapCut as well as other apps should feel sorry for their actions, and I hope that CapCut will reply back to you and take down that template and apologize.
Let me explain CAPCUT dose not make any of the edits and puts them in a template they didn't really do anything the user tho did basically people on the internet make edits on capcut or any type of editing software they make a template of it capcut dose not do so there not really the one to blame its clearly the person who stole Lauren's edit and put it in capcut to make a template so capcut could get the blame. As someone who started to edit on capcut and then shifted to alight motion, seeing these templates makes me so mad because even when you make something yourself on capcut you have to do a lot of stuff to actually make it look good so seeing these templates is annoying already but then seeing other edits get stolen is just taking this shit too far. Capcut isn't the problem if you don't know capcut didn't steal any of the edits so basically what happened is the user stole it put it in capcut and made it a template to think capcut stole the edit even tho they didn't because there not the ones who makes the edit and makes to a template people who make the edit put it in a template so capcut didn't really do anything.
