A joyous gift of a video thank you. I loved everything, but especially your doll altar with the coloured lights. I really enjoy my dolls house also; it’s a very inner child healing activity, as well as nostalgic. ❤

Candy!! You are just the best!!!!!!! 😊 I was giddy to click on this video, knowing you speak to my heart in a way that I will understand. You have set out the elements of altars in such a plain language way, that makes so much sense. I love that you have got straight to the essence- intention and connection. There it is, I get it!!!!! I have taken notes and feel ready to begin. Bless you Candy, you are a beautiful advisor on my spiritual team. Thank you thank you thank you. Sending you so much love from New Zealand🇳🇿 to you and your family 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you for showing us your inspirational altars! Altars at such personal and creative expressions of ourselves. The older I get the more I allow myself to do just whatever I want, instead of what I think I should do instead
Thank you for the inspiration and encouragement. I am impressed how clear you are in your intentions and different spaces. All reminds me of a vision board. But these are interactive areas to activate intentions and connections. Thank you 🌈
I love the idea of your altar telling your life story. I would really like to try that as I had a very traumatic childhood and I want to reclaim it without all the bad memories. It sounds like a good idea for me. Thanks.😊❤
💯 my kind of altar! Things that mean something to me…especially gifts from nature…and nostalgic items from my past are so much more magickally charged to me! Thanks for sharing… always Candy…you are a breath of real fresh air!! ✨💫✨
Wonderful! 💖💖💖 I love all your different altars and them being all over the house. 🥰 My first altars I tried to do the "typical" directional/elements altar. Unfortunately I felt nothing with those. I was still working on leaving the religion I grew up with and felt super inhibited as I explored things that were so different from what I knew. It was something, a symbol of my explorations, but that's about it. Recently, after many years of having an altar in various forms, I sat down to think on what was REALLY and actually meaningful to me. I struggle with deity and ancestor work. I have one goddess I venerate, Epona the horse goddess, but I don't really do much work with Her other than some Oracle card readings. But she's important to me and I've had some kind of symbol on my altar for Her for many years now. I thought about what's actually important to me, what's actually meaningful to me, what I really/actually do and work with, rather than fantasy me or what others think an altar should include. I emptied my altar space completely. What I ended up with was quite different and interesting. I primarily work with divination and crystals for my spiritual practices, along with observing the changing of the seasons, the Solstices and Equinoxes. I realized my altars before didn't reflect that at all. So I set out to have my altar reflect that. On the wall above my altar, I've got a seasonal wreath that I change with the 4 seasons. I've got two square picture frames on the wall, one with the Reiki precepts, Reiki being a big part of my personal healing path. The other has a seasonal picture from a blog I follow, that I change out for each of the 4 seasons. My altar is on my dresser, because I spend a lot of time in bed due to chronic illness issues. The shelf I added has my charmcasting set in a beautiful bowl I've had for many years. I've got some items to represent goddess Epona as a shrine. There's a dragon metal charm to represent my Dragon Guide. I've got a Tree Agate heart that played an important role in my Crystal Reiki attunements. There's a small bowl with some Angel crystal confetti to represent my Angels, Guides, and Guardians. There's a statue of a larger sized woman sitting cross legged to represent Me, Women, Goddess. On a side shelf I've got my singing bowl I use for sound cleansing. I can't do incense or smoke due to allergies. On the dresser itself I've got some personal crystals, an Amethyst cluster because I'm all about Purple and Amethyst is my birth stone. 🥰 I've also got a larger stick of Selenite and one of Black Tourmaline for cleansing, clearing, and grounding. Then I've got some of my divination tools. I've got a plate with multiple dice sets for my new interest in Dice Divination. I've got my Runes in a rectangle wooden bowl. I've got my pendulums in a wooden bowl as well. I've got a bowl for my crystal bracelets and a bowl for crystals I've taken off of crystal grids, that need to be put away. I've also got a wooden Seed of Life crystal grid base I use for crystal grids, or use the space for other crystal grids. I don't really have any representations of Tatot/Oracle because my decks are next to my bed and I work with those primarily on my lap desk in bed. But I can put a notable card on my altar if I feel the need. The final piece on my altar is a larger piece of tumbled Malachite that my kitty Kevin has claimed as HIS. 😁 He's very sensitive to energies and that's the ONLY crystal he is willing to work with. He'll go and specifically sit on or near it. We call that "doing rockies." 😂 So it's out and available for him for whenever he chooses to work with it. So my altar doesn't have the "typical" representations because I found that those weren't what is meaningful to me. They weren't what I worked with regularly. So my altar is quite different from what people might expect for an altar. But it's mine and I love looking at it and working with it, even if I don't actually sit at it. It has the things that are important to me personally, things I actually do work with regularly, things that are meaningful to me.
As I read this it formed pictures in my mind of your room and altar and I loved it!! Thank you so much for taking the time to share. I think the process you went through of clarifying what you actually find meaningful rather than what a fantasy self would want is amazing and a vital part of the process. Thank you so much for speaking to that ❤️❤️❤️
You don’t need expensive items to make an altar. It’s about intention and what you put into your practice. I love the freedom of your altars and how it represents you. It’s about being yourself and what is important to you. I think there is no right or wrong way to build an altar do what ever makes you happy. As always love watching your vlogs. Thanks for sharing Candy❤
I love your dollhouse altar, Candy! And now I’m looking around my space to see where I can fit a dollhouse and then of course I will need dolls for it. Like you, I like collecting things so this might be the start of something LOL thank you for making this video and sharing your beautiful magical spaces. Each altar feel so very special! I hope you’re doing well, Candy 💜🥄🥄🥄💜
Emily thank you so much and yes to a dolls house. I found both of mine on Facebook marketplace. The one the lady was advertising a vintage barbie house that was way out of budget when I asked the price but she offered me the one I have for free! I couldn’t believe it! And the one with the skeletons on was £8 so it just goes to show they are there to find ❤️❤️❤️
This was so beautiful, soul inspiring and such an answer to my problem! I just got a small shelf in my doll room and I was going to put dolls on it but I couldn’t agree with which ones and so it was just empty and holding some random things I didn’t know what to do with and then a little whisper happened while I was catching up on some of your videos on your other channel and you mentioned this channel so I felt the need and came over here and this was the first video that popped up I was mesmerized from the beginning and knew instantly that this was what I needed for the shelf 💕💝💖
