A quick note: the 'Hurricane' logo was actually officially dubbed the 'Going Places' logo; introduced in the late 60s as the FEC transitioned into the ownership of the Dupont Trust. Not just that, but the "hurricane logo" is not the right way up to be a hurricane...
Wonderful history of the FEC Railroad. The new Brightline will need to extend service to Jacksonville to complete the legacy of the FEC. A train service to KeyWest would be a dram come true.
I enjoyed both of the videos on the FEC. I would like to see one thing corrected though and I dont know any other way to contact you. The logo that looks like a huricane was actualy the " going places in florida" logo. this can be verified but ooking at the cover of fec anual reports or ask Seth.

This was very informative. I live not to far from the Gold Coast Museum in Miami. Think I need to go back for a visit.
