A lot of the covers nowadays, the boy groups kinda make it more masculine or wear more masculine outfits (like MIRAE did here), back in 2nd gen male idols weren’t afraid to embrace more feminine dance moves, outfits, and even wore wigs sometimes. That’s not to say that it’s bad that it’s changed or one is better than the other, but just something I’ve noticed.
I got into Kpop back when guys covering girl group dances was pretty much just for the lols (and some of that was ok & fun in the right contexts & intentions), so I'm glad to see we've fully moved into the era of respecting the art. Mirae killed every choreo & paid a fantastic tribute to their seniors!
can we also appreciate the sound mixing too, its so smooth, transitions are seamless, and honestly doesn't even sound like they switch sections. nicely done. whoever was the audio mixer here great job man!
