You can say he’s your favorite but don’t make bold statements like that. Bouriakov is an accomplished flutist without a doubt, but there are plenty of flutists out there (Jasmine Choi, Emmanuel Pahud, Gary Schocker, etc.) that are at the same level as him. Besides, there is no such thing as the greatest of all time. There are just too many factors that you have to take into consideration when you are evaluating a flutist.

no resistance in this flute it's obvious, it's a style. this generation gave birth to ''performance''. for fun I like to listen to the old recordings of Gaubert, Heriche,.. they teach us about the origin of this flute born from the industrial era.
