🇨🇭⛲ 10 [THERMAL BATHS] IN WESTERN SWITZERLAND

🇬🇧⛲ There are ten thermal baths in French-speaking Switzerland. Some of them are very old, such as those of Yverdon, Saillon and Leukerbad, which were already being used by the Romans 2'000 years ago. Two cantons do not have thermal baths: Neuchâtel and Jura.

Among thermal baths, La Torpille includes baths with water at more than 30 degrees. The Anzère and Cressy baths, Bain Bleu and Aquaparc are completely artificially heated while the others take advantage of hot underground water springs. It should be pointed out that there is no definition of the concept of "thermal bath", the word "thermal" means heat and therefore heated baths can claim to be called thermal baths.
General note: People for whom peace and quiet is important should NOT come to the thermal baths on weekends, holidays or school vacations. All thermal baths may be subject to heavy traffic and a noisy atmosphere at these times.
