Thank you very much for the history videos, Shannon! I love history and I absolutely love statistics, so these are like Christmas presents fo me. Keep up the good work, looking forward to next episodes, after the 1967 expansion it gets super-interesting. Thanks again.
"A special stand for the Stanley Cup had been arranged inside the Quebec pavilion at Expo 67, in anticipation of another championship by the Montreal Canadiens." From what I recall mayor Drapeau had pretty much promised that cup to Montreal...
I'm sure Shannon knew full well he would be spending half the videos in a Habs jersey, and for him not being a Habs fan, just shows his commitment to the game of hockey. Kudos !
I don't know whats more enjoyable about this series: Shannon in a Habs jersey or having him constantly repeat: Montreal-Boston is not a matchup that favors Boston and him having that dejected look on his face.
Last night,I had a dream when Shannon did multiple boards for the post-expansion and used to carry his camera all the time to show the boards. I thought that was very interesting to me and my brain guessed what he will do after the expansion.
Is this final between Montreal and Detroit the one that the Pocket Rocket won in OT sliding down the ice on his stomach but somehow putting the puck in the net? Pretty sure it is. I had about 3 weeks salary riding on this against a Detroit fan. To his credit, he paid up. Well, I would have, too.
So tomorrow is going to have the only team in this league that I never saw winning a Cup.... Still don't understand how they can have fans to be honest. It seemed like they are always trying to lose. Maybe this year is going to be their year.
I can feel my hockey knowledge increasing! Thanks man.
I love these series... Literally learning everything lol
Orr and Esposito are coming for the Bruins.

Im so excited for the expansion and 1974 and 1975
Matthew McCloskey I’m excited for expansion too, plus 1991, 1992, 2009, 2016, 2017
You should do a story on the inspiration for the song fifty mission cap by the tragically hip. Would be a great story to hear from your stand.
Almost to expansion
Shannon, did you ever imagine yourself in this much Habs jersey all at once at anytime prior to starting this series?

A Canadian in Europe very well put.
Minor point- I think it was Brit Selby, not Bill.

Barry Gibbs? I thought he quit hockey and became a musician.
How is Boston about to win a cup
They draft Bobby Orr and trade for Phil Esposito in the coming years.
the difference between the haves, and have nots... or better to say between the Habs, and the Hab..nots.
Witty
☺
vancouver got screwed out of this round of expansion.
Maple Leafs > Habs
Habs still have 2 cups in my lifetime. I never even saw a good Leaf team.
