That scene was interesting. BFB started as a back to basics season of the original BFDI, and Post-split was even more so like the original. It does feel like a soft reboot of the original and despite what people may say, I think it does capture the magic of the original in a way that makes each episode absolutely fantastic (with some exceptions) while TPOT kept the magic that BFDIA/IDFB had, and it works great. And then the speaker box takes over, it really is just like the bfdi finale. I do think four will come back, and as much as I'd love him to come back, I think Four eventually coming back either in BFB 29 or BFB 30 will be the thing that really makes the season finale great. Speaker Box is the manifestation of the original BFDI. Four is the manifestation of BFB The finale will need both of them. What really gets me about this scene is that the music in the background is the bfb intro. If four doesn't come back then that could very well be the last time we hear it. The prospect of four not returning is honestly kinda poetic. He states in his last few lines that he would be a constant presence, so we'll never be rid of him. Whether that means he'll just be a landmass for the rest of the series or if we see him in the flesh again, I'm unsure. Either way, I'm excited for what's next. There can really only be two BFB episodes left, and I think they'll be great.
