That's true. I personally have not seen kiss since 2000. That's why I put 74-00 on my comment. However, caveat emptor. No body is making anyone buy a ticket. I will admit that if they go on tour in 2019 I may go see them only so I can bring my 7 year old daughter to see the spectacle. However when I weigh it all out, what they gave me over the years outweighs a full price ticket today. I don't have to go. I choose to go.

Great video! New subscriber. I’m giving my age away here but as a kid growing up KISS was with no doubts my fav band. The first time I heard Alive on a descent stereo I was hooked. I am all for anyone making money for a job well done; but if you are knowingly putting out a shit product, then your only motivation has to be $$. It’s not for the fans, it’s not even for nostalgia. It’s plain and simple greed! I say all this feeling very sad. These original guys weren’t just my fav band they were my idols. It’s just really sad to see what they have become by not knowing or caring that there time has long past.

Nailed it as per usual Doctor. Love that Tee. Just got my ticket for Gene Simmons and Ace Frehley Show on August 30 in Melbourne Australia. Should be a GREAT night although they moved the venue from a 12, 000 seater (Rod Laver Arena) to a 1700 Seater Festival Hall.
I saw the(supposed) ‘Farewell Tour’, mainly for old times’ sake and I said my goodbyes then. To me, KISS lost that magic spark after the original guys left (or shall I say, got fired). I still was kinda hanging on a bit through the 80’s but, it was a different band and I was moving on. Kiss was so special to me in the day, that it almost hurts too much to sully that memory with the mediocrity and/or the downright shittyness of the later and more recent performances. Dr. F is right. They are going through the motions and phoning it in. They are tired, old, and frankly, don’t give a shit anymore and it’s way past time to hang up the platform boots.

But they've been at this so long, they probably can't really quit. So yes, I would go see them on what appears to be their very last tour but original line up only.

I have not seen Kiss live since 1976, and if you had told me back then that Gene and Paul would still be doing this shit in 2018 I would have died from shock. My suspicion is that the hearing in Paul’s good ear has deteriorated to such a degree that he can no longer hear how his own voice sounds.

we seem to be on the same page when it comes to Paul's ability to rap between songs,and when it comes to being a performer,he is really good.I saw their concert from Prague on cable and Kiss was in super slow motion,low gear man.Rock The Nation was awesome,probably their best set list since the Hot In The Shade Tour,a lot of deep tracks.
I have not seen Kiss live since 1976, and if you had told me back then that Gene and Paul would still be doing this shit in 2018 I would have died from shock. My suspicion is that the hearing in Paul’s good ear has deteriorated to such a degree that he can no longer hear how his own voice sounds.
I mean I've seen Kiss. When I was 7, but I fell asleep and now I want to go again to make up for what I missed but with Paul's voice the way it is now, no I'm not going.
I know the audio wasn't tampered with. That's what it was like when I saw them 2 yrs ago.
