The sea water is not clear here in Phuket and not really white sand more like cream color. . Go to Boracay, Philippines or any of the beaches in the Philippines and you’ll definitely see crystal clear ocean water and white sand beaches.

Unless someone has a definit deficit holidays in noisy, crowded, bustling, commercial Patong, bars filled with beer drinking old man, who would dare to make holidays there?
Me. I love using Patong as a base whem visiting South-Thailand. Nice long beach ideal for walks, Nice secluded bay, ideal for serious swimming. The size of the town makes it handy for shopping, especially with the Big C. Plenty of various restaurants and other. As for the gogo bars they are in restricted areas mostly and you go there only if you like that kind of things. Personnally I don't but hey! It pleases some.

Bangkok vibe with a beach... but thats it ! haha... there is more beautiful places ;-) Don´t let them fool you with all the scams! Dont take the boat to freedom beach haha another too busy beach for my vibe ! ;-) and they charge you alot !

@@FoxxWalk maybe go to this beach you can see from a viewpoint on the way to surin beach ;-) its walkable from surin beach in about 10-15min! And its compared to everything around... lil paradise!
Plenty of other beaches take some time and look around. I love Nai-Thon still tourists and russians but so much nicer. Horses for courses.

95% of tourist attractions that have a high "sell" value in Thailand are around the "groin"!! That's why it is very popular with young tourists. Free sex and cheap LGBT are the biggest attractions for foreign tourists. The rest is natural beauty, culinary, art and culture.
