I actually choked up watching this video. I don't regret saying that I disliked your languages, but I do regret regarding you as this "epitome of bad conlanging". You are not the worst. In fact, when I first Really got into conlanging, I watched some of your vids. Sorry to hear that you're going over the hill. Hope that doesn't turn you away from the conlanging community.
1:00 this guy is great. This is just great. This whole segment is great! :D He accepts criticism, accepts it, works with it, and uses it to help better his work. That's just awesome, we need more of that :)
I found this video pretty good, and Im glad you took advice without sounding salty about it, not actively so atleast. I hope you keep in the game and keep improving your works. I personally took inspiration from the writing system of Pegakibo and made my own for my own conlang called Toki.
Normally, the word must be as distinct as the surface difference. Since hot and cold is antonym, it should be maximally distinct. Maybe by flipping every letter in a word. For example: nake (hot) -> ribo (cold) kasi (day) -> biga (night) Notice the change nr, a i, kb, eo, sg. This way, a conlang can be distiguishable yet remain logical.
Good for you. Although I joke about Votgil, Breadspeak appears to be a great deal improved. Also, I *also* distinguish conjunctions in that way in my conlangs a lot of the time, between and as in [cat and dog] and [the cat meowed and the dog barked] would be different "and".
Eisenman’s languages are too logical to be put into conworlds. No real language works like this, if they did we would see natlangs like Zese or Vötgil.
Liam O'Connor well, it's a work of fiction. One could always find an explanation to it. And what restricts us to human languages? Maybe this is another species. I know Eisenmann isn't the best at creating language, but it doesn't make basing cultures around it less interesting
There's nothing to say, in the realm of fiction, a culture wouldn't adopt a logical language to speak. Think of a sci-fi or future world, or something along that line.
This is auxlang and loglang to some extent, it makes no sense to create a cultures and societies based around the language. This is only true if you want to make a naturalistic conlang.
It wouldn't be an alphabet, it would be a syllabary (Hiragana for Japanese/Linear B for Mycenaean Greek etc.) or an abugida (Devanagari for Hindi etc.)
If your goal was to learn a language, spending your time learning one would have been easier and faster. You should the video How To Acquire Any Language NOT Learn It. Interestingly, this "conlang" business reminds me of the history of computer languages, how many there have been and how quickly they go on the scrap heap. Only faster since most of them don't do anything.

Are you ever going to come out with a Cactus Quest 2?
I'm into the writing system
You should create cultures and societies based around your languages

@@66LordLoss66 Say that to the creators of loglan and lojban.
CV as Japanese, always easy to pronounce, easy to read (when you know the alphabet) !
japanese syllable structure is (C)V(N)
It wouldn't be an alphabet, it would be a syllabary (Hiragana for Japanese/Linear B for Mycenaean Greek etc.) or an abugida (Devanagari for Hindi etc.)
Make a word for quarks please !
I'm falling in love with this language (am I a robot ?)
Everything is logical ! Logical !!!!!!

I usually prefer alphabets, but your syllabary looks really good
This is very interesting and well thought out
are you gonna continue?
Huuuge improvements on previous langs, eg. Pegakibo and Vötgil.
And agreed, you took the best from each and shunned the worst
Heya Esperatanaso, do you would like to create a language with me? I could help ya!

Ah, hello Anthony McCarthy
Hey, Anthony! How goes it?
Well I think it is ok to have 3rd person pronouns. Some languages do not have them.
@TatuPlays Latin, Turkish (the two are the same),Japanese (the old words for things that are far away is used for 3rd lerson pronouns)and possibly more!
@@mrpellagra2730 Latin does have 3rd person pronouns, but I think that they only exist for certain cases but i am not sure.
@@novvain495 Latin uses demonstrative pronouns rather than 3rd person pronouns specifically. Proto-Indo-European did not have them either.
