Amazing video! The legendary Banshee 😍 Isn’t it easier to put the headgasket on top first, then mark with the marker of the metal to be removed ? , instead of using a needle to scratch out ?
you will only remove the small amount of aluminum that comes out of the gasket. to remove the blue paint, just clean with alcohol. this is a way of doing. but you can do it the way you want

hi. yes the engine continues to run perfectly. work smoother. more accelerator response, I feel a little more strength at low rpm. I haven't posted any more videos because I had a big accident but I will put a video after the work done on the engine

That is a oem cylinder gasket. Not a template.

The only downside to grinding the case away to match the cylinder is decreasing the case volume.
