*I just bought two of these. I'm excited to stop replacing light bulbs over and over. AND to have the fixtures nearly flush to the ceiling compared to the gaudy semi-fishbowl fixtures on my ceiling. LoL!*
Yes. They are equal to 150 watt incandescent bulb. A 20 watt (120v) LED light will output between 1,500 and 2,000 lumens. That is a beautiful output brightness.
It says they are fire resistant, electrical shock resistant, and short-circuit protected. So, I would say they meet the UL standards 100%. But they are from China. So, who knows. I know a few people who have them in their homes with zero issues.
3 years at 8 hours a day (non-stop use). 8,760 hours for a ceiling light is insane. Don't complain. I'm replacing Sylvania and GE LED A19 light bulbs every year or two in my house. And the wiring in my house is updated. And a 2-pack of LED bulbs is $6.00 So, $6 x 3 times in 3 years = $18. I just paid $19 for each of these lights. And I won't have to touch it for 3 years minimally. So, less maintenance, same cost.
Two years later, still helping folks! Ty!

Illuminating. I think you've turned me on to these Taloyas, and really just in general.
Man... For a second I thought that you were ACTUALLY that tall.. .lol. Thanks for the demo.
Thank you! This was really helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
How can you change the color of light when you already installed it??
Does anyone have an issue with tightening the wire nuts while holding the light and on a ladder ? NO ONE is showing that part 🤔
Don't be afraid. The light is super light and twisting the mar-caps on the hugging wires is easy. 👍
Hi, nice job! Do these work with Caseta switches?
Do you stil have them? How long did they last?
I don't think any of them have burned out yet! :)
Can you use a dimmer switch with this light?
No. It says it only uses a 2 way On/Off switch only.
If the color can be changed by remote, that will be greater.
Don't like the idea of removing the light every time you want to change the mood !
This light would have been great if you can just change the color temperature with just a click of the switch.
Just having the selector on the side would be a great updated design in the future.
If the led dimmable stops working how to replace?
Take down the light and replace it.
Thanks for the video... odd ball
Nice would that light up a pool table

Are these lights UL approved?

checked the ad & they're projected to last only 3 years? kinda worthless...
Easy to replace though. My guess is they should last more than that with average use.
