Its still really impressive to play someone so different from you. Take George Clooney, fantastic actor, but you always get the sense its still George Clooney playing a slightly different version of himself
In selection for this characters they usually give a little script for the actor to act out in front of them, he acted like "Bryce" and they thought "Heyy, that's pretty good".

I got to say I don't see Bryce when I see Justin Prentice in real life. The look, the personality, so different.
That's the problem with the school system.. the principals don't do anything about it. So when a student comes addressing the issue of bullying, they don't anything. I really hope that this show will change people. It's not new but it needs to be done.
