One idea: I would not use a sanding sponge on surfaces that need to be flat. Use some double sided tape to stick a piece of sanding paper to a flat surface and then use this. Very interesting video though! I dabbled a bit in porting chainsaws. It's cool to see how many of the same principles seem to apply here. 👍
Great job one thing that i was watching was with all that dremil shaving fly everywhere nd the car sitting opened exhaust port on the engine just wide open close by hope nothing went in
You're right. I wasn't paying attention, but I did notice afterwards shavings on the car. I closed off the port and hit it with compressed air, luckily nothing got in. Gotta be more careful!
@@NitroTalkwithTodd I'm sure it's allot of step recording yourself posting videos getting all set up allot of work nd we all appreciate it but things do get overlooked it happens
On my kyosho fw06 cars I used a traxxas .15 tmaxx header because kyosho headers are bad design for exhaust flow it made a difference in the sound and throttle response
Have you ever thought about a building 2 stroke scooter or motorized bicycle engine that ran off a mix of like 75% E85/25% methanol or RC car fuel. Using a higher compression head & larger carb jets, to make more power ???? 75% E85/25% methanol mix would be about $6 gallon and would make a fast scooter or bike.

I use the sponges more for spinning things, I used to watch a guy who collected old chainsaws on TH-cam, they were cool videos. Thanks for watching!

There is one really great aftermarket header for the rs4, I got a couple, but I can't think who makes it..

cool video and mod
Does it actually make any difference to performance?
It seemed to idle better after, but that's subjective. I think I can also test for acceleration/g force, I'll look into it
