Alan Strom Lime Spiders aren't one of Australia's best Bands or even one of the World's best Bands. Lime Spiders are one of the best Bands in all of the eternal parallel Universes. I saw Lime Spiders on so many occasions that I couldn't put an accurate figure on it. On quite a few occasions I found myself having a chat and a smoke with Mick Blood outside the venue. One time in the 90's I bumped into Mick at a Venue called Feedback in Newtown. Somehow the conversation got around to Urge Overkill and their album " Saturation" Both of us really loved the album. I told him it was one of my favourite albums to practice my Drumming to. Mick was surprised that I played the Drums and shocked that I could play to one of the hardest tracks on the album. One night in the 80's, a mate and myself dropped into the Band house at Forestville to 'pick up' and the band were rehearsing extremely loudly in a 'soundproof' room. The memory is vividly etched on my brain. Mick was a great person to talk with, he always remembered my name. I am deeply saddened by the horrible incident that happened to him. I hope he is doing well. Lime Spiders are a huge part of my life. They are a real Rock Band.
Lime Spiders were one of the most formidable Rock Bands in music history.
Powerful and fearsome.
I must've seen them 100 times.
Awesome LIVE Band.
Love this band-an Australian/Citadel favorite. It is recorded LOUD on the 45, and it makes the song that much more kickass. Underrated.
Crunch-O-Rama!
@@brucedunkle9136 Absolutely. This song still sounds fresh and shimmy-able. Which is a great way to rate a song.
@@dianelowery725 You said it! This song and “Beyond The Fringe” are classic examples of The Lime Spiders’ amped-up take on 60’s garage/psychedelia.
fookin' brilliant
Finest garage rock ! Thank you
Great Aussie Rock!
Nice Wimple Winch cover!
