Most of the non-pro level TH-cam creators like to convince themselves that they like heavier racquets when in fact they do not have the skills to wield the heavier frames. These folks fool themselves into believing they can play with pro level specs to make themselves feel good. During practice the heavier frames do feel solid and often have a better feel, but the reality is when playing points (ball not being hit to you and you need to move much more) heavier frames have far more cons than benefits. The MP-L range should be used by the vast majority of rec players, not just juniors or women. An additional benefit of going with a lighter frame is the flexibility to customize it to one's ideal specifications.
True. This guy says this just about every video testing a 295-310 unstrung racket which suits most rec players in the advanced beginner-intermediate range
@@curttheboywonder of course. I hope you realize that has no bearing on today’s era of tennis. The game, technology and technique has changed a smidgeon 🤪
Harry. I met Bill and his son this weekend while they were here in Vegas for the junior tournament. You're my favorite youtube channel. Im a newer tennis youtuber . Check me out at big boy tennis. ❤
Its more for self use. Tension is relative to your ladt string job so you adjust and after 3, 4 times it becomes routine.

Very true! The focus of many reviews is not a lot on the rec or doubles player. Also most stores only sell MP-L’s with a max 3 grip size.
@@FwsmitI use a size 5 grip and always a problem as one can't find thus size in all model racquets.

You do realize most people over 55 grew up with 400 gram racquets, right?
