Im absolutely amazed how negative so many people are in the comments section. These guys are sharing, and are working on solving a very unique story. Look at the artifacts they have found so far. They're doing what most people grew up wishing they could do when they were kids, look for treasure. This is definitely my favorite tv show of all time.

Roman sword was planted and turned out it was fake. It was a Roman gladiators sword but with Inca engravings on it. A British commander had used it to cut off Black Beard the pirate's head. How did it end up on Oak Island?
I'm afraid the treasure is not in Oak Island, Nova Scotia. You'll only find debris of woods and coconut fibers in Oak Island. The treasure is probably hidden in Oakland, California. Treasure hunters must've found the treasure already in the last 2 centuries.
I've been a faithful devotee of this show since Season One, but even I have to admit the current season has slogged by at a glacial pace. There's been so little discovered that's been stretched over TWENTY-ONE episodes that even the regular "new footage/well-recycled animations and explanations" ratio is really testing the patience. There's no reason this season should have been longer than ten episodes and even that would be stretching the interest in the "new finds" thin. I think it's even beginning to wear on the Laginas; Has anybody else noticed a dramatic change in Rick? He's either not disclosed that he's very ill or he's simply lost every bit of passion he's had for the hunt since he was a boy. As for Marty, he's always just looked like he's waiting for any reason to pull the plug at any moment. Come to think of it, maybe Rick's just finally exhausted from years of trying to convince his pompous brother to play treasure hunt. Marty's constant cynical condescension towards Rick would have done anyone else in a lot sooner.
These guys will never find anything. Ever. Never have, never will. They are paid not to. They are only there to disprove the oak island mystery. Nothing more
