You just respect him as a person and love his music. Also, you quietly wish you had his looks and swag so you could attract the ladies. 😂 Nothin wrong wit Dat. 😊
Prince on the keys….Prince on the guitar….Prince on the mic….Prince on the dance floor….Prince with the swag….thats what made him incomparable…he did it all!💜💜💜
Bryant was like a little child on Christmas day before opening gifts. And who can blame him. The birthday present to remember for not just lifetime but in all the lifetimes😃 Daaamn🌟💜🙏 Prince = The Greatest to Ever Live!!!
How fabulous! Bryant's face lit up and he looked like he was on the verge of tears. Prince was positively infectious - if you didn't catch his funky jive, then you might have had a foot in the grave, lol. Thanks for posting.
Gumbel has my total respect. The way he handled the question about their baby. He quickly addressed the elephant in the room, stated back what he thought was Prince's outlook on it, let him add anything else he wanted to add, and then moved on seamlessly to humor to lighten the mood by talking about his clothes. LIke he knew that it was a tough subject to ask anyone to dwell on. Others would have continued in a probing way or sat there awkwardly or started asking career questions. He went to humor and allowed for reprieve. This is probably why Prince liked him.
Absolutely!!! GOD bless Mr. Dumbellfrom one DLS Cavalier to another! He was always so well respected here in his home city of New Orleans. He is a trailblazer!
One of the, if not the greatest, true all around musicians to ever walk this earth! He had a silly personality, a silly practical joker side !! Miss this great man!!
Awww man…THIS was sooooo Ahhhsome to witness for Bryant Gumble💜He was looking like a little kid gushing and blushing with overwhelming joy🤗 I’m sure he will cherish this moment for the rest of his life… R.I.P. Prince, I miss your presence and music💜😢
Insane talent and style which looks all the more extraordinary shoehorned into such a humdrum setting. Prince had a great capacity for friendship and hilarious humour, he did NOT take himself seriously at all, even though he understood the power of his cultivated mystique. Lovely talented man God rest him. He lit up the tv like nobody else. Really miss these delightful surprise perfect miniconcerts from him.
There's something I love about Bryant Gumbel's attitude towards the beginning. It's like, we are two incredibly different people, isn't that delightful?
Prince comes in, shakes Gumbel's hand and walks off camera like it's an elementary school Halloween show. 😂 He had such a great sense of humor when he knew people were going to respect him and not poke and prod at his style and choices. RIP to one of the greatest musicians this planet has ever seen.
This was phenomenal!! 👏🏽👏🏽 Prince had a lot of respect for Bryant and I love that he wished for God's blessings on him. 🙏🏽 Prince in his outfit reminded me of Morris Day. Much love and rest in peace dear Purple One. 🥹
I will never forget my moms reaction when I took her to see Prince perform at MSG! He appeared a few feet away from us on stage & he was absolutely amazing as well as him wife, Mayte! 💜
Every video about Prince moves me as to what an icon he was. Apart from the fact that he was insanely gifted as an artist, he was brilliant mentally and he didn't try to be anything but himself. Also, he was the coolest guy ever and he had a way of making people feel special around him.
That's Mayte Garcia, she was a great dancer and they loss their sweet baby. I think Prince did get married again but it was a short lived marriage as well. His siblings inherited all his assets after his death. Who isn't a fan of this extraordinary artist... We all are! RIP Prince 💜💜💜
Prince provided a lot of great music, laughs, and memories. I miss the good times and the music he created but I'm glad I'm old enough to have been around to witness his entire career unfold.
❤Omg glad I came across this video. Bryant's eyes were sparkling with excitement his rosey cheeks. The always under control professional man showing another side
I have been listening to Prince in the last 3 months... And even thougt I know.his music, I can say that I love him and respect him more now than before. Also, I believe is unfair to compare him with MJ.
1965 when I moved from Canada with my American husband just got married. Prince was just a kid in the neighborhood. 1970. He went to school a few blocks from my house. I was associated with his foster mother where he lived with Andre Simone, his foster brother who was once married to Jody Watley. You were not born and then I live a few blocks from me. Nobody bothered him when my son was growing before we moved to the East Coast. last time he saw him I guess in the 70s when he had his bodyguard that was about 500 pounds in the bar. Would you ever know that when I move to the East Coast 1980s that I would enter and be associated in that music business, not given a thought before recording artist agent CEO. My first husband and I went to what they made a club his movie, purple rain the dance floor was enormous and all lights under it. The DJ that introduced him his music on the radio first time I remember this DJ was murdered 1970s. I am now 88 years old smile we were the only interracial couple at this club. The reason we moved to Minnesota 1965 because it was the closest American city to my home in Canada because in those days you didn’t have a lot of choices.
I’m a fully grown man and I would’ve straight up cried if Prince did this for me. This is insane 😂
You just respect him as a person and love his music. Also, you quietly wish you had his looks and swag so you could attract the ladies. 😂
Nothin wrong wit Dat. 😊

The only artist I truly was sad over when he passed. So many concerts of his I went to in DC.
Prince was a talented musician and songwriter. RIP Prince Roger Nelson.

I was unsure why Bryant held his wife’s hand so kindly, tenderly, warmly at the end of their fun talk.
