I think he should be considered in some role. He is the most recognized Bronco of all time. He was offered part ownership in the past. He is responsible for all three of our superbowls. 7 Elway was with the broncos for 17 years and Manning was only 4 years. John Elway turned the Denver Broncos from a perennial loser into a contending winner. I remember the Broncos from 1960 to 1982 and they pretty much sucked most of the time. Elway came and changed the culture of the team to perennial contenders, except the last six years. Peyton was great but he only continued Elway's effect on the team.
