This worked for me! It took a really long time for the bar on the iPad to start loading but it eventually did, and everything was fine. Note: Check if there's a loading bar at the top of the iTunes app, the iPad won't start being restored until it's all the way done. I didn't see this and unplugged it my first try.

The disk you are attempting to use is full. Removing files and emptying the recycle bin will free up additional space" i have since re attempted to re-store how you have shown and it KEEPs coming up with this error. What you will need to look for in iTunes is in the top right, you'll see a little circle with an arrow pointing down. While the circle is spinning, the download is still going. Once it's done, you will be able to click that area and see the download is complete.

The only thing that was different for me is that my Macbook had to download and install the outdated software that was on the ipad. After this was done then the process proceeded just like yours. you need to wait for the ios file to finish downloading then it will install it, you will find a small arrow down icon new the search bar on itunes to track the download process

When I hold the buttons down the Apple logo pops up but I hold the buttons for like 10 minutes and nothing happens
This helped but it’s saying unable to restore ipad and i don’t know what to do
Just go update your pc or mac and try it again
