John Rutter is a most wonderful composer of today's music. The more I listen to his compositions the more I realise how lucky we are to have such genius in our midst. The world is slow to recognise and appreciate this brilliant composer, to my amazement, with music and church music retailers not knowing who I am asking for. The only consolation to this is that I get the same ignorance when seeking Bach or Handel! Such an intangible thing is true fame?
J'ai chanté le 18 mai dernier RUTTER dans notre choeur Plantagenêt a Angers, ,j'ai adoré chanter cette oeuvre grandiose,RUTTER je ne le connaissais pas , le public a aimé vraiment.Ce contemporain est accessible .Magnifique,sublime.
Querido Santiago Ruiz, has elegido un conjunto coral masculino fantástico en su belleza y armonía. Esta es la única interpretación del Magnificat de Rutter ( y he escuchado muchas y la he interpretado yo mismo) en la que los hombres suenan correctos y bellos como pretendía el compositor. Desgraciadamente, en mi opinión, la selección del solista no fue muy acertada. Pero usted, la orquesta y el coro son estupendos. Espero que pueda leerla nueve años después. Con amor y respeto, desde Rusia.
Hermoso, hermoso y hermoso, recorde cuando cante esta obra con mi esposa en el Coro Polifonico de Panamá, y viendo el video de igual forma lo cante, soy baritono y mi esposa contralto, es una obra muy rica y divertida, y espero volver a cantar esta obra, ya que al cantar somos como María, magnificamos el Poder y la Gloria de Dios, bendiciones a todos, y a todos.

this is a stunning performance with the most beautiful soprano soloist I have ever heard. Rutter certainly knows how to wind up a coda.
