The Botswana Defence Force soldiers were also deployed. The operation was described as an intervention to restore democracy, and the rule of law.'

The charity is called Bracelet of Hope ( a very small one from Canada working exclusively in Lesotho) - they are housing AIDS orphans and are starting some mobile clinics to bring medical car into some of those rugged areas.
