Beautiful work why using gesso at last and not white paint?

Thank you for your question. Gesso is a chalky matte paint, so the colors underneath will show through the Gesso more easily. An acrylic paint seals the colors underneath more.

How is the clay staying in Shape with time? It is just drying, does it crack broken in time?

Hi 👋 good question, thank you 😊 The clay will stay in shape because I build it up in thin layer’s that is also why it won’t crack.
