I still can’t believe it, every power rangers show has been on Netflix since I was in elementary school & now almost all of them are gone except Mighty Morphin, Beast Morphers & Dino Fury

"Dino Fury" is the upcoming season and has been rumored to be the final season with Hasbro & Toei, not the last season of Power Rangers. Hasbro is planning to go bigger with Power Rangers with more shows, movies, etc. They didn't pay half a billion dollars to cancel the show before airing their first official season, which will be Dino Fury. That would be a pretty poor business deal.

Yes I absolutely Agree with You on This at 6:52 Physical Copy is always better than Digital because we don't exactly owned Digital, Digital movies and Shows can Leave Streaming Service at anytime If We get The Physical Copy we actually owned Them Forever ☺️
They need to either rerelease these sets or make new ones cause not many people are gonna buy them at the price they are at currently.

As someone who's unsubscribing from more and more services it's always frustrating to see things leave Netflix. There are just too many streaming services and quite honestly I'm going to be sad seeing all of the Power Rangers and such leave. Especially things that are hard to find like betteborgs and vr troopers.
I had no idea that the boxsets included special features. Last year I bought several individual season sets. I remember watching that lost episode special back when it aired on Fox. Oh, well. Thanks for sharing, Bruno!

Ever since most of the power rangers seasons were taken off Netflix I had to get DVDs

2 power rangers Dino charge

I'm planning to get the rest of the seasons
I have to rebuy the most expensive of the boxsets because my Bonus Disc got scratched in shipping when it came loose in the case. And I'm willing to do that because I love owning the physical copies of Power Rangers. I will never have to live without them (unless DVD players go the way of VCRs one day).
I bought the Complete DVD of In Space, but it was two DVD packs for all 43 episodes.
Lucky! That's my favorite season.
Was about say that the real shame of Power Rangers leaving Netflix is that it was the only legal way to watch the series dubbed in Spanish because I'm really certain that these awesome DVD's are most likely only in English. Hope Hasbro can work add the series back or at least give Latin American fans a way to see them again.
I know everyone is said about Power Rangers leaving Netflix but perhaps if we raise our voices loud enough maybe we can change their minds or get the seasons on a different service like Hulu or Disney+? The same thing happened to Digimon. It was on Netflix then moved to Hulu. My vote goes to Disney+ they need the content and this would get them allot more viewers but that is just my opinion.
I understand your point but Disney hated Power Rangers in the past and they probably still do. They practically ditched Power Rangers after RPM.
They used to have all the saban shows including mystic knights on Netflix, they phased out mystic knights and bra troopers is still lingering but it’s a shame they are.
I love all the Power Rangers series they are a good story and they help teach you a few things.
Jungle fury showed us RJ doing a Mr. Miyangi on Casey and even a villain or two can reform and even love- Jared and Camille which was sweet
It also teaches that if you have to take a back ally somewhere try to use the buddy system ( seriously how many times did tommy get kidnapped in a back ally? ) mighty morphing up to Dino thunder

Yea Tommy got kidnapped more than any of the others, Hailey was essentially Zordon since she created the morphers cause rocket scientist and many other things Tommy ain’t.
And out of Cassidy, Kira, Elsa, and Hailey I’d choose Hailey smart and sexy.
@@BelmontClan I’ve been wanting to make that reference for a while, my favorite Dino thunder characters were probably Tommy ( for obvious reasons) and Trent ( not the clone version though) you are not wrong about Haley though she was like the human version of Zordon ( that felt weird typing out) and she had a fun looking hangout spot for the team ( I’d probably go there or maybe the juice bar or the pizza place in jungle fury way too many fun places to hangout in the power rangers universe mostly a tie between the last two choices)
@@jeanbean7183 sadly in real life Tommy JDF is a coward who for all his years of martial arts and even time in mma ran and hid behind an overweight security guy to avoid being shot by an equally overweight guy dressed as the punisher who was armed.
But if you look at Jason he was smart he only got captured by goldar and later freed himself also in real life ASJ served as a civilian contractor in a combat zone, and is an EMT in Washington DC and he puts his life in harms way without no power coin and power suit.
For hangouts in the PR universe yea the cyber cafe and jungle karma pizza would be ideal.
Personally I thought Fran was cuter than Lilly, hair in a pig tails, glasses, and a book smart, lonely nerdy and secretly hot but not know it.
Dom helped make her shine in the end and it was clear that they did more than just go backpacking in the end.
The Rockporium in mystic force was okay and so was Kelly’s storm chargers was okay too in ninja storm.
On Dino Thunder Trent was very much a Dr Jeckle/Mr Hyde just like his dad was the white Dino gem screwed him up for a while.
But JKP needs to get its arcade machines fixed to avoid having kids run off with $5 tips if RJ can hook up the state of the art monitoring system than he can fix a busted arcade machine.
The classic youth center from mmpr was okay and bulk and skull reformed in the end and on samurai we meet spike a nice bit of family history.
Power Rangers will be leaving Netflix February 1st but there is another way you can see tv shows for free download the app called Movzy and see what they have.
@@BelmontClan sadly I know about the Netflix thing ( I’m calling it the ranger wave almost like the z wave that happens in power rangers in space but it affects rangers instead of monsters) I’m trying to save my money for the box sets though ( I will agree with you about the arcade games in JKP because if RJ can create a claw cannon I’m pretty sure he could fix the arcade games )
Because TransFormers, G.I. JOE, and My Little Pony classics are on Tubi TV, Hasbro will put Power Rangers on Tubi TV, as well. Something about it says so.

Oh wow, I've must have missed or forgotten that Shout Factory had actually already explained why they couldn't do PR Blu-Ray Sets. That sucks but I am happy that I at least have everything on DVD. I as well absolutely love & prefer to own my own physical copies of media, for reasons exactly like this.
There is no excuse though to not have. PR Seasons from Samurai onwards on Blu-Ray though, since they're filmed in HD. This is why I *REALLY* wish we could take the license away from Lionsgate (shoot if they even still have it? Where's Beast Morphers on even DVD at least?) & give all the rights to Shout Factory.
Shout could then make a matching box set for all the Neo-Saban Seasons, fitting their Super Seasons into the same case with their respective first Seasons. Being as big as the Seasons 4-7 Set plus a bonus features disc. Having maybe a Sudarsos Brothers special? A 20th & 25th Anniversary specials? Legendary Battle & Dimensions In Danger specials?
Plus I personally, the way I am, will buy both the DVD & Blu-Ray versions of this set because; DVD to match my Seasons 1-17 Sets (for my OCD) & in Blu-Ray for the sake of having it in nice quality & durability against scratches.
P.S. Also please Hasbro, let Shout release Sentai DVDs again!
I totally agree. I'd also like them digitally. Which is something Lionsgate at least tried to do with a few seasons. But I'm praying Shout Factory gets the last ten seasons.

Thanks to Netflix I saw S.P.D., RPM, Jungle Fury, Operation Overdrive, and the Neo Saban seasons for the first time. I actually really enjoyed Dino Charge/Supercharge!
I watched it when it aired from Mighty Morphin' up to Dino Thunder (aged 3 to 14).
Hasbro: We’re removing Power Rangers, Transformers, and our other content from Netflix because the latter refused to take down Cuties and it’s other bad movies/bad shows. Plus, they keep cancelling actual good shows. We didn’t want that to happen with us, so we had to take everything out of the library. Maybe, we could move our content to Paramount+, Discovery+, Peacock, or make our own streaming service. We could call it “Allspark” or “Energon.” Yeah!
Maybe hasbro can just put full episodes of it on their channel

@@GeneralNukem Hasbro: Disney said they didn’t want any association with Power Rangers back in 2009, which is the reason Operation Overdrive was deemed as one of the worst seasons of the franchise since Turbo.

Can anyone tell me how the video quality is on the DVD sets for Samurai onwards? It's a shame if the HD seasons' video quality suffers on DVD if it could look much better in blu-ray
Super Samurai got a Blu Ray release
Problem is that these never properly released outside of the US. Here in Australia it's so hard to find power rangers media in stores, and with region locking disks, should I import these then I run the risk of none of my devices being able to read them, making it a waste. Netflix was nice because it was basically a compromise to us not having the ability to buy them easily, while still having access to these. That being said, the moment it leaves netflix, I'll just torrent the rest of the seasons I want to watch until they properly become available to buy in Australia.

They are all available on iTunes as well. The seasons start at $9.99 and go up to $19.99. A lot of them are $13.99. Might be what I end up doing. But I've heard rumors that Power Rangers will be moving to Paramount+ (CBS All Access). So I'll wait and see.

I believe that was the point. I'm surprised the streaming deal lasted as long as it did, given the release of pretty much all seasons, not necessarily the massive helmet set.

honestly i'm really sad that i missed out on the Shout Factory box sets... while i can still get the MMPR box set, i really wish there was a way that wouldn't involve hundreds of dollars on the used market (not including shipping to Israel) to get the other sets...

1) We don’t know if all Saban era series were shot in SD videotapes. Maybe the last ones were shot in better quality

Honestly hasbro should give back the rights to shoutfactory to make the dvds and Blu-ray’s of anything power ranger/ super sentai, all of Saban’s old and new shows with access to every bit of footage

There’s always iTunes. However, for the “Beetleborge fans” there’s only the first volume of the first season available. (Don’t know why the rest hasn’t been released yet). I also would wonder why the bonus content from the dvd pacts didn’t make it to iTunes. Stupid cheapskates.
I remember being so excited when Power Rangers came to iTunes (years and years and years ago..) and back then, it was like $2 per episode, right? You can see that adding up real fast. Who's being cheap? iTunes would love to sell you more things. Do they have the rights from Shout to use the bonus content that was for the DVD sets...? That was kinda an incentive to buy the sets, ya know? Buy the big thing and get exclusives.
I wish we had an idea when Beast Morphers would go to iTunes.
Unfortunately only Mighty Morphin has been released on DVD in full here in the UK. Some 2000s seasons have been released on DVD over here, such as SPD, but for 90s seasons the only other thing we have is Buena Vista's Best of DVD, which features an episode from Space, Lightspeed Rescue, Wild Force and some other season. Only Dino (Super)Charge and Ninja Steel are on our iTunes store. I did buy a £30 multi region DVD player in 2018, but it didn't work quite right: I would hear the occasional random gap in the sound. I watched The Simpsons episode Last Exit To Springfield on it, and after hearing "It's not as nice a the other rooms", I rewound and heard "It's not as nice as the other rooms". This has got me worried about how well old and cheap DVD players work ever since. I'm more concerned about Big Bad Beetleborgs. Although I didn't watch this show much back in the day, it didn't get a single home video release, at least in my country! All we got was a Beetleborgs Metallix movie VHS! VR Troopers has been released on DVD in my country, but not in its entirety. As for Masked Rider, although that isn't currently on Netflix over here, all we got was the first 6 episodes on VHS and the first 3 episodes on DVD! If I had the capital, I'd start my own company, Sagittarius Entertainment, and I would acquire shows abandoned by their studios and release them in full on DVD and iTunes! In some cases, such as Saban shows, I'd just acquire the home video rights. We need to do more to ensure our favorite shows continue to be easily available for generations. You cannot be fully dependent on streaming!
Now it's all on youtube cos they probs make more from ad-rev. Plus kids watch this stuff over and over and over, I know I did, adds to view count.
Well i mean lots of shows leave Netflix and are sometimes brought back later. For example vampire diaries left Netflix for a couple of years then it came back so who knows maybe the power rangers will also come back later

Great video as always Bruno, it's a shame that it has to be this way but in the end non-physical media has never been the most reliable source of entertainment, hopefully they will show up at another streaming service soon-ish or maybe eventually make a comeback to Netflix if they can sort out a better deal for both parties

One of the main reasons i bought the DVD sets back then was because i wasn't on any streaming services at the time,
and it is indeed a lot more convenient to own a physical version in case of announcement situations like this.
Especially if you're a long-time fan and are interested in all the included bonues material on the sets.

They could come to blu Ray eventually as doctor who is releasing the 70s classic season even 80s and probably eventually 60s seasons but obviously not true HD but upscaling the quality so yeah it would never be true HD but would be a slight bump
Just sad we don’t have these in the uk. We did get the mmpr set released by manga but that’s all they did except for the Dino charge through to ninja steel s1 budget dvd releases

Well, for that, I'd grab the DVDs. People said they were waiting for that 10 years ago, and I assured them it wasn't coming. BBB sold so poorly they initially cancelled the final release. Now it's leaving Netflix. I don't see anyone going back and making a fancier set with Beetleborgs any time soon. Seems like it'll just get harder to find over anything else.

I desperately want the first 10 seasons on dvd, we get stiffed in the UK, no extras whatsoever. It is insane.

They must have other plans though. Maybe it'll come back after they renegotiate the contract or something? Or Hasbro will put it somewhere else? We don't know what their next step is.
Look, let's be honest: I realize all those seasons of PR were not shot in HD. But Shout put too many episodes on a disc for their DVD releases and there is pixilation in parts of the shows with lots of action because they condensed them! I looked at an episode that had that particular problem and then put on my old VHS tape recorded in 4-hour speed, and my PICTURE WAS BETTER at times of high action! (Their sound was of course, much better.) So I don't really care if we get Blu-ray or not, but I wish they would release them uncondensed with full bit-rate available to DVD instead of cramming 10 episodes on there. I've heard the interviews saying they were just as good in quality as they originally aired. Unfortunately, I can say from firsthand viewing that it isn't true.
JD W While the quality issues and compression stop Shout Factory's releases from being perfect, it's better than what Disney did when they were releasing the DVDs.
Which was to release the first 20-25 episodes on DVD, then air the remaining ten or so on Jetix, without ever releasing them on DVD.
Lionsgate's DVDs are *a little bit* better because they don't squeeze as many episodes onto a disc (4 episodes instead of 10) but they *never* include the holiday episodes with their *complete* seasons.

I posted this a month ago, obviously I know that, which is why I made the video... that's the news. PR leaving Netflix, so here is a look at the DVDs for people wanting a physical copy.

I know. It doesn't make sense why they would remove Zeo, it's the continuation of Mighty Morphin'. Apparently the people removing the shows haven't watched MMPR.
Sad to say that as of this comment, the original prints for the 4-7, 8-12 & 13-17 sets are now OOP, same for some season sets that Lionsgate released, including the Super Samurai Blu-ray. In exchange, the 1-3 set has been reprinted, and it's now $40 in some places.
Did you see the colossal mistake Shout made on Twitter earlier this week that got every Power Ranger and Super Sentai fan hyped up for an announcement that they would be starting the line up again only to to issue an apology two days later that they did have any news? I did hear from a friend separately that they were hoping to start up Super Sentai “hopefully soon” so fingers crossed that they were just premature in the announcement and that more is coming this year and hopeful that they can get the new Power Rangers shows!
I got the Time Life DVD Helmet Collection, but the video felt really low def/compressed to what was on netflix. Are the other DVDs less compressed. I'm tempted to buy MMPR Season 1-3 and Alien Ranger on Netflix.

It looks like you can buy older mmpr seasons on amazon or itunes, but not google play. The Amazon versions are pretty expensive for mmpr and alien rangers. But get cheaper after zeo.
Yeah, we don't have then on dvd internationally. We've only got the neo Saban seasons and that's been very sporadic. I've never seen any series aside from samurai and ninja steel on dvd. But you know, I'm sure Hasbro will put them all on a new streaming service only in the US.

IDK much about the relationship between Hasbro and Netflix, but it really sucks that all fans will be stuck with is regular MMPR, the sucky Ninja Steel, and the pretty decent yet not perfect Beast Morphers. I think Dosm summed up the issues when it comes to the lack of exposure to other seasons
I'm heavily confused on all this netflix stuff. When I heard the news I went straight to netflix on my phone to see if it was true but for me some of the seasons that where said to be leaving now say they with be staying while other still say they are leaving at the end of the month. Later I also went on Netflix on my tv and it said that all the seasons were staying. Either way I think that Hasbro should work out a deal to keep the shows on Netflix for the convenience and pleasure of the fans.
One of the biggest advantages to having every Season on Netflix is that if I haven't seen one before and am curious, I can just watch a few episodes for free. If I don't like it, I can move on; if I do, I can keep watching. Otherwise, I have to risk buying a whole season I won't like. At least they're still not really expensive.
I wish They would do the newer seasons of Super Sentai in America so I can watch them
An SD BD release might be nice for the older seasons. It would be a good way to reduce production costs by including a bunch of episodes per disc without any quality loss. Discotek does SD BDs for lots of older SD only anime to great results. Might be a decent option if Shout wants to look into it at some point.
The DVDs do look pretty good from what I can tell, though. I have the MMPR set and quite like it. Sadly, I don't know if I could justify going all in on the rest of the sets right now (I wore myself pretty thin catching up on the Sentai sets this year), and I'd want the big boxes if I could choose a release. Hopefully they don't skyrocket in price later on.
Agreed, the best we could hope for is SD BD for disc/size reduction, and a slight improvement in quality since there would be less compression. But for a franchise and fanbase like PR, I can guarantee people would complain that "this isn't HD!".
@@Spindash54 I know, and apparently "this literally CAN'T be HD unless we re-edit every episode from the ground up by hand which involves recreating every visual effect not from the Sentai and getting permission to HD scan the Sentai footage that was shot on film and getting HD files for the Sentai footage not shot on film" isn't a good enough explanation for some folks.
There should be a BALANCE of physical and digital/streaming.

I am curious to know what’s going on behind the scenes. Most likely the other series was taken down due to low viewership; however, I kinda feel there is stuff going on with Hasbro behind the scenes. Just worried Power Rangers will changing after Dino Fury. Heck we haven’t even had any updates on Super Sentai in the US aside of it being on hold indefinitely due to Shout not having the rights. Yes, that more has to do with Toei and Hasbro, but I feel maybe Hasbro is separating from Toei in the future due to a deal they hypothetically can’t make. Might just me being paranoid, but still concerned.
Power Rangers feels quieter lately. Not sure what changed or how much is me, but in the Saban/Bandai days, I could never get videos up fast enough and was always working on something, which would always get interrupted by some even newer thing... these days it feels like months go by and I have nothing to say/show, unless I just make up my own skit with the toys. Sure felt like a lot more energy and excitement when Saban bought the show and released Samurai. Fans also seem to care about so little these days. I can't even post Super Sentai to this channel anymore, had to move it to Patreon. Every time we post a Sentai video we lose subscribers. Never thought I'd miss the Super Megaforce days, but there were a lot more people who were interested in things back then, outside of just Mighty Morphin.
What’s the difference between vol 1 and vol 2?
The earlier seasons of Power Rangers had relatively big episode counts. To make them more economical to sell Shout! Factory chose to split those earlier season's episode count into volumes. For example, MMPR season 1 had 60 episodes total. So MMPR Season 1 Volume 1 had the first 30 episodes and MMPR Season 1 Volume 2 had the last 30 episodes.

Even though my brother has a Netflix account and he's ok with me using it,... I still like to try to watch them on ( illegal ) websites. I don't know why but it makes me feel good knowing that this will most likely be the worst crime i will ever commit.

People forget that with Power Rangers, if they were to do a true hd remaster, that they would probably have to remake essentially entire episodes. They would more than likely have to get the masters of the sentai footage from Toei, had remaster those masters and then reedit them into the remastered power ranger episodes.

Dvds are better over streaming, yes streaming is good, but owning the DVDs or Blu-rays is better than streaming because you own them and theirs always a chance they might take that down from the streaming site. So I’m always buying bvds like this bc their might be a chance for buy or rent on the streaming sites!

Just went and got myself the remaining box sets from Shout. Not sure if I’ll get Lionsgate dvds for Samurai onward, but I at least now have the seasons that mean the most to me....may have used a portion of my stimulus check to buy them 😅

I also have a good Power Ranger DVD Collection.
My MMPR DVD set looks different, instead of being split into volumes, each DVD case is an entire season, so there are just 5 cases including the bonus features. Also the carboard sleeve looks different, it has a tie-dye look to it.
You have the second edition. They are reprinting it a third time but taking the booklet out in that version
