Another gem dropping vid... out here for the community and not just yourself!!
If you're starting a business congrats and strap in for the ride, it's a roller-coaster of emotion.
I want to add my 2 cents on a couple things lol.
    1. Taxes - start a separate savings account that has interest rates. Straight away put the percentage of tax into that account. Come tax time you have the money there PLUS a little extra as it's been gaining interest. Extra profit.
    2. Wholesale supply - Ask companies who's product's you use for a wholesale price list and buy in volume. You can sometimes save up to 50% from list price. Extra profit.
    3. Government grants - find out what business grants are available from your government and local government. You would be surprised at the amount of help you can get from the gov for small business. Extra profit.
    4. Don't give up. Push yourself like you have never pushed before. Hardwork always pays off at the end. Listen to your body though and rest when it's needed. Mental profit.
Thanks again for all your efforts Sean, who the streets call Color Me Fresh.

These are the types of things that I've been thinking about for the past 3 weeks. I'm still new to opening a business account for myself and how taxes work but I'm taking some time out of my week to learn a little more and more about it.
As for being a 1 of 1 artist, there's beauty to it. What I can't stand is when another customizer tell me I can't charge what I am charging for my customs. These customizers could be producing the "same design" for a lower rate at higher quantities but if I'm honest, their quality isn't always there and they're often, in it for quick money. I mean good for them. I'm not here to criticize. I'm just saying it would be nice to know and educate them on the difference between a customizer and a 1 of 1 artist.
Quick note, shout outs to you for that! 👏🏻
Also, for the long run and your reputation to stand out, like you said, I have noticed that these customizers do go at war with one another for lower rates too. Its not worth sacrificing my sanity so its something people have to consider when they're starting out their customizing journey.
Nothing is ever easy but your "WHY" would be your biggest influence.
The 1% of my audience that I'm targeting, often, wants a custom that someone else doesn't have and for me to make it 1 of 1, that gives them more comfort and knowledge on why we, 1 of 1 artists, get to charge $1000 + for our customs.
For that, I value my time and my creativity more. This allows me to build better relationships with my clients without rushing and gain more respect from the community as well. I am not a machine. I'm an ARTIST 👩🏻‍🎨
