39:48 I think you misunderstood this section. He wasn't saying that bts is better than everyone and therefore they are in a league of their own. He is saying that he thinks there needs to be a white boyband at the top and that bts doesn't qualify because they are Korean. He was essentially trying to sidestep army's getting mad at him but also sound "cool" still while being racist.
Yes! I was looking for someone to comment on this!!! Yes, Loui!!! U totally misunderstood what that idiot was saying. He was saying that a "white boy band" singing in "AMERICAN" (like that's a language! Idiot!!!) needs to be at the top & not a non-white band 😤
when you said that it seems army is the one that lights bts on fire in 9:20, i think you're wrong. all of those plagiarism and making fun of other groups accusations came from non-army kpop stans, it's why sometimes as army we seem like we're overly protective and aggressive, it's because at the time, we were the only people standing up for them.
yes, yes - i think he missed the point where it's ppl outside of ARMY (kpopies / kpop fans / trolls) that attack BTS so ruthlessly over any little thing... EDIT: Thanks for clarifying the misunderstandings in your new video Tribe Loui
I think it's a great idea to watch one episode of Rise of Bangtan after you react to one comeback. Because the storyline really follows each of their comebacks so you'll be able to keep up with their growth as you react to each album.
I think you misunderstood at the 40:00 mark (not mad, just want to let you know) that pop group was saying they didn't think BTS should be nominated in the same pop categories as them, that BTS should be kept separate, because he believes a western or European group needs to be on top (the winners).
NGL That whole misogyny thing really got me. I remember first getting into them and hearing about this so I looked up the supposed offensive material and was kind of blown away by....how not misogynistic it was. I really appreciate that the guys response was to pay closer attention to things and get objective opinions....but the fact that some mistranslated lyrics and antis made a non-problem into a problem just.....really gets me. Because there is a ton of truly misogynistic material out there and to target the guys with accusations like that simply because some whiny little brat doesn't like them? Just really gets to me and annoys me each time. 😶 I get what you mean by knowing someone went through hardships though. Never wish that on someone but to see someone go through those things and come out stronger is...inspiring. The underdog story kinda thing. Edit : Cause I paused on the misogyny accusations to type that because it really does irritate me but YES, like I get looking up to artists/celebs who are good and worth looking upto but the way people just....act like they aren't people and deserve to deal with that level of hate or prying into their personal lives, its always driven me insane. Like let them breathe and have their privacy, just appreciate the work they put out for us. The death threats thing is.....just another level. To go that far because you dislike a group of artists....just something messed up with you seriously. Edit Edit : Sorry for all the edits... but wanted to clarify on that part with that one boyband that said "BTS can be on their own" and you were like facts, he wasn't really complimenting them. The guy was saying BTS can exist in their own sphere while a white/american boyband actually remained on "top". I agree BTS are kind of in a sphere on their own but that guy didn't mean it as a compliment, especially since he goes on to say he can't get into them because he "can't understand what they say"
I paused to come down and say basically the same thing about the whole misogyny part! Glad I read some comments first. That shit still pisses me off. Like...even WITH those mistranslated lyrics, I still saw nothing wrong with them! While they do usually go for more serious topics, what's wrong with young men singing/rapping about a beautiful woman and having...*GASP*...hormones? The anti's were trying to pull it off like they were so pure that they never felt that way about someone. As for the privacy...YES!!!! Speaking ONLY of dating, I mean...I WOULD love to know if they're dating, when they're dating...but I certainly don't need to know WHO. It would be nice if they were able to share that, though...to know that they ARE normal, 20-something year old MEN. (Let's face it...we know they are, or, well, at least...we know they HAVE...dated. They ARE human!) Anyway, how does that effect their JOB? I mean, I've never once heard of an instance where a singer/dancer couldn't, you know, sing/dance, just because they were in a relationship... I won't even go into the privacy issue when it comes to those who try to sneak into their hotels, apartments, etc. That's just...insane. Sadly, with as popular as they are, it happens, so their safety is a major concern at times. I'm just glad BH/HYBE protects them by doing what they can to prevent it from happening, as well as that they do actually go after those who try to the fullest extent of the law when needed!
@@MystiqueRisingSunhe dating thing gets me, ngl. Like *_why_* can it not be normalized by everyone to let the guys (or anyone, really) have the agency to choose when and if to tell us abt their private lives, including who they date? If it's not part of their jobs and isn't hurting anybody, then no one outside of the ppl it involves is entitled to knowing that information. As a fan, I'd much rather hear personal news from the guys willing to talk abt it and feeling comfortable enough with us to tell us themselves.
01:07:02 What you have to understand here is that Jin being the oldest in the group, was the baby at home (he has a big brother). So "suddenly" being the responsible one, taking care of younger "brothers" took a toll on him in a way he realized he wasn't home anymore and he had to step up for the challenge. And that he did beautifully. As he's fulfilling his military service as the top of the top :)
Jin its such a beautiful human being, and as you said, he step up beautifully, he is so humble and dignified that you had and have to watch him very carefully and you will see how things affects him in a good or a bad way and how he let go of things in order to be his best version for his brothers. And slowly but surely you perceive how his message about life permeate the boys just as much as president Namjoon 😊 message does. I am sorry about my English, is not my first language. Its just that I wanted to share what I think and admire about this wonderful boy who grew up to be an even more wonderful man and role model to his beloved brothers and how slowly but surely, his brothers, beautiful souls that they are, understood his message (like that video clip in which Jimin talked about Jin in such a lovely way, for example).
The friendship between BTS and Halsey is so pure and wholesome.... In Yoongi's recent documentary Road to Dday he mentions that Halsey is one of the few who understood the and treated them like humans.....
“That’s probably why their connection is so strong, cause they had to weather that storm together” one thousand percent! No one understands their hardships (probably even more than what was shown on the vid) then THEM themselves. As army we can acknowledge and do our best to support and protect them. But the members are who they can lean on daily, cry with, hurt with, and push forward with everyday. They’re stronger as artists and as a unit because of what they’ve overcome together.
I love it when we acknowledge how amazing Bang PD is. What a visionary, honestly. He brought all of that talent together & allowed them to be part of the process which as you saw seemed/seems so rare in the industry. S/O to him & as always, S/O to Bangtan 💜 They have a remarkable story & clearly, reasons why they are who they are today. Really appreciate you for not just being on this journey, but enjoying every piece of it. Thanks for always being awesome Tribe leader!!! 💜
honestly im glad youre reacting to the rise of bangtan...i think it does sugarcoat some of bts' past and sometimes focuses more on kpop than bts, but i think in general it provides a fun way to learn more about them since the editing is so good. idk if you know though but bts will soon be releasing a docuseries that depicts their entire journey (since debut) but there hasn't been much updates about that. i think you'd really love watching that when it drops!
I agree, although BTS exist in the k-pop industry so sometimes it's good to know the comparison or context within the k-pop sphere. I think the series is a good COMPLEMENTARY source or guide through the timeline. There is a lot of content in there, that is often forgotten within the fandom or it's hard to find if you're a really new army.
@@majag5117 yesss this is exactly how i feel like it shouldnt be your only source when it comes to learning about bts and u should always rely on what bts themselves have showed us but it does it have its merits
The first video focuses on mostly the hardships from their early years/in south korea but theres some crazy stuff from america especially, like their long battle w billboard and the charts, the constant targeted rule changing, its worth looking into
Personal recommendation: if you watch the 2nd/3rd ep. of the Rise of Bangtan, do it when you listened to the second album bc will be A LOT of song spoilers there ! And hi!! i hope your weekend goes smoothly well 💜
Tbh they still get this type of hate everyday especially on Twitter. ARMY is strong cause we will defend them til the end, there’s a saying that Karma is an ARMY and the tannies will always win. Ty for reacting 💜
@@tribeloui2023 I've never read it in full... I'm not saying I *wouldn't* sit through you reading 166 pages, but I wouldn't *not* sit through you reading 166 pages either...
hamburger thing still pisses me off😭😭😭 it seems so small but it happened during the year where people in the korean entertainment industry were increasingly vile and passive aggressive towards bts for literally no reason ☠️ they were like 2 decades older than him too bitter old hags
On 13th june I got my NEET result and scored 621/720. I'm finally going to med school this time! Last year I couldn't make it due to 10 marks less than cut off and that was a breakdown for me. This time I'm really happy as I made it on 10th anniversary itself! BTS is not just a kpop boy band but an emotion for people who are connected to it ofc its army. I discovered them two years ago by dynamite and I guess it's the best thing that happened to me in years. The amount of respect, love and appreciation I have for these boys is too high. They were my comfort source in these preparatory years. I couldn't make it last year but I always said to myself that I have to make it happen no matter what. I promised myself to achieved my goals and be a better person till my boys reward me with a grand comeback. I usually prefer to be a casual listener not a fan or something and I tried the same with them initially as well. But I couldn't resist these talented, jolly, handsome people who really shower their fans with so much love and support....
Wow congratulations! You have worked really hard! I'm happy you have Bnagtan and Army in your life. All the best for your future, please take care and stay healthy and happy. The road ahead is tough but you have lot of people supporting you. Fighting! 💜
Even though I personally do not hold grudge with any fandom, even if they spout nonsense about these boys, I just can't help but feel some kind of hosility towards the Exols. I know not everyone of them was bad but the issue is that the fandom let it happen. They were the ones always spreading rumors about BTS, making fun of them, of their looks, just because Exo members were more handsome in their eyes. I do not blame EXO but I really wish we could have gotten an apology from the fandom. Everytime we discuss this matter in videos of hardship of BTS, if someone mentions exols attitude of past, there will always be one of them coming to defend the disgusting activities of that fandom. Anyways it feels refreshing to see your reaction videos where someone actually puts their input and share their thoughts about the matter. It is interesting to me how people can express their thoughts in different wordings!!! Hope you become huge one day!
Sorry but I'm one of those ppl who hold grudges..one time i can even forget but would never forgive...never.. Exo-Ls and VIPs..i would never forgive those fandoms..now including blinks and many more..call me i-m-m-a-t-u-r-3 but love to give ppl taste of their own medicine.. I'm pity af
@@aishwaryaahirrao no it is not exactly immature, but I am just someone who does not have the strength to hold grudges against such monsters who just hide behind the screen and send hate and threats to others just because of their jealousy. The only thing I want is that hopefully this life will teach them a lesson that how words hurt someone, I want them to feel the insecurity deep in their heart, I want them to feel threatened about their life just like how they send death threats to artists just because they feel like it. Life is beautiful and not something which we should waste on disgusting acts like this. It is sensible to not forgive people and there is nothing wrong with that. You were hurt in the process and you have the right to decide whether to forgive them or not. This is the reason why I only interact with Armys online because for me the other fandoms are not worth it to spend energy on useless conversations.
@@wildfictions705 I totally understand what you mean...but it's hard for some of us to let go...the scars these fandoms left on BTS & ARMYs are deep..and the fact that this is still going on..the m-i-c-r-o-a-g-g-r-e-s-s-i-o-n k-popies hv towards anything related to BTS or ARMY is so sickening
Exo-Ls are still the same they didn't change !! They still spread hate towards our boys and accuse them for plagiarism everyday in Twitter. even if they apologize (ik they will never)we will never forgive them. Exo-Ls and blinks have done worst to our boys we can never forgive them
Dude, you're seriously the coolest reactor ever! You know what I love about you? You go the extra mile to dive deep into BTS. Like, you don't just settle for what's in the video, but you actually go and dig up more info like what you did on white paper project. It's freaking awesome to see you genuinely interested in learning about BTS. Your reactions are so real and your curiosity is amazing! Honestly, I'm so sick of watching other reactors being lazy as hell. They just sit there and command ARMYs around, like "comment below and tell me about white paper project" Can't they do their own research like what you did? And the worst part is, they ask for facts in the comments but never bother to actually read them. It's so frustrating! You feel me? I've been watching reaction videos since 2015, and this is the same crap I see from most reactors. But you, my friend, you're in a league of your own. You're on a whole different level! Keep it up!
only twelve min in but u tearing up over jungkooks burger incident rly got me like the full video is actually so heartbreaking, he tries to brush it off but u can tell it upset him
it’s interesting bc the rise of bangtan shows how other artists of kpop were treated and viewed by their companies, and then it shows how bts was treated by big hit, as humans and not machines, who put the effort bc they wanted to and not bc they were forced to as, sadly, happened w those other kpop artists. i think that’s one of the most important things that made bts, well, bts, and allowed them to grow organically as individual artists and as a band. (also, the rise of bangtan includes lots of spoilers of their albums and songs, so i’d recommend to proceed w caution hahahh and if u want to have a more complete experience meanwhile listening their albums i’d watch the practice dances/choreos of their songs if they have one. if you’d like that) thank you for the content! as always it’s truly amazing
Trust me on this: you MUST watch this Seo Taiji performance with BTS at ST 25th anniversary concert. It's one of my all-time favorites. Not to be missed: Seo Taiji feat. BTS - Come Back Home live @ SEOTAIJI 25 TIME : TRAVELER 2017 [ENG SUB] [Full HD]
I've been checking for the last hour waiting for your video. I just realized I'm way too spoiled now and I'm in trouble if u don't upload 💀💀💜💜💜 love your videos a lot even if I don't comment. Thank u for bringing smiles and joy to my daily routines
I know! It's the one who always repeats the same "G-Dragon king" comment, right? I've seen them EVERYWHERE and I even replied to them at some point because I was sick of seeing that comment.
Like a lot of newer ARMY we also wish we were around to help protect them, but you can see an almost PTSD response from some of those older ARMYs who were around and fighting on twitter (especially the 2018 SK/Jap stuff). I'll forever be thankful for older ARMY who were around because those years (toughest years seemingly 2015-2017) were really rough. As far as the "misogynistic" lyrics... oi... it's a dual issue - one bad translations and two... just media and anti's using it to be performative. The song in question will forever be one of my favorites, and we haven't heard it live in so long 😥 I can already imagine your dumbfoundedness when you see the lyrics in question.
It was really tough back then. I think what really upsets us the most is to see other fansoms deny what happened and what they did. That's the reason we screenshot everything, because we know they're gonna try and gaslight us into believing it never happened or somehow twist the story to make us the villain
Thank you for recognizing us because l remember how paranoid I was in 2016-2020. It was always tough fighting and defending BTS, but it was all worth it 😭.. this is why l can't get mad at some even older armies from way back to 2013
I'm a "new" Army of two years and always feel regretful not being there at the time to protect them. You just gave a reason trying not to feel TOO regretful. Thank you
I'm sooooooo glad that you start this Rise of Bangtan series!!!!!! Thank you and hope you enjoy it!!!! I've been here from your very first BTS reacion(Jhope&Jcole) and You are my favorite reactor these days💜💜😆😆
9:14 tribe loui you gotta understand, they're seven guys, the torch has to be big! sometimes we fumble with it a little bit but we're fine overall i promissseeee but also, whatever other fandoms come up with to hate on bts got nothing to do with us, they literally go every once in a while poking the bear (that's us) with a stick and then have the gall to say we started it
I occasionally rewatch these hardship videos not to keep hate in my mind (since the boys keep telling us to be positive) but to remember why I will keep supporting them whether it's by streaming their music or buying it or voting. I mean at the start i got angry and even hated other groups whether they sis anything or not but now after years I think I'll just keep supporting BTS. I'll always make sure they're at the top. The industry doesn't favor them at home or abroad so it's left with ARMYs to support them.
16:22 Quick explanation, G-Dragon is one of the older generation idols, Jungkook said he got inspired to be a singer after seeing him perform, and all BTS members respect him and his group, Big Bang, a lot. Also, Taeyang from Jimin's song "Vibe" is from the same group as him. And the songs V said he listen to every night are from this group.
if you were an army back then before bts was this big was like being on the trenches EVERY DAY..2018-2019 was a NIGHTMARE the video you saw is the shorter version of everything that happened in their early debut/ career & after they started to skyrock in USA & the rest of the world. But yeah we went through a lot of sh!t & the boys didn’t deserve all that, i truly believe they are genuinely nice & sweet guys so it was hard & traumatic as a fan of them to see all the massive hate towards them coming not from other fandoms only but the korean , western & international media
seeing all these again after experiencing it in real time brings so much anger and sadness that i had about it back. what brings me peace of mind is how they beat all the odds and are now the most successful kpop band ever and the boys seem so much more relaxed and happier now. p.s. the blurred out names are multiple names, not just one group/fans. yes, it was that bad. p.s.s (im commenting as im watching) but yes ARMY is an acronym😭 the only people allowed to address us by our embarrassingly cute government name is BTS
Hiii Tribe Loui... Thank u for bringing this video of their hardships. It wasnt easy for me to watch it by myself before, but watching it with you, i felt i had some company with me to sit through this. Glad Veteran ARMYs never gave up on tannies, so baby ARMYs like me could have the fortune of getting to know them and be healed by them.
Yess I’ve been waiting for a reaction to a vid like this, when I was first getting into bts I didn’t understand why a lot of these things happened to them or even know what some of these things were like the Korean award shows but as I got deeper into bts & kpop I got to know how different & how big the korean entertainment industry really is, there industry has grown to a better place over the years but back then they were extremelyyy judgemental, fanbases would overexamine anything & everything, the Korean shows they would go on would make fun of them which was crazy bc tv shows there are a huge deal, it just seemed like many had a bias against young bts with all the accusations they would get, it was really the whole industry against them even kpop idols were being shady & all this because they were threatened by bts being the underdogs 👏
fr every time I listen to anything from Dark & Wild (which I believe is the best as well) I just sit back and think “how was this masterpiece recorded in a freaking garage”
im a 2015 army and oh boy... i dont even think a video can cover the amount of things bts and army have gone through, 2015-2018 were hell, then again, when u are as successful as bts is it is expected for people to try and stir shit up. u would be surprised at the amount of popular idols that have been openly bitter towards bts, peers in the industry that to this day don't show any respect, its sad but it wont stop bts from being on the top. it has been 10 years of hardships but also beautiful moments, lets get to 20 with bangtan and army stronger than ever !
I personally hope someone will do a deep dive into BTS/ARMY hardships. This video is great and all, but it is just surface-level. Same with the documentary, a big part of BTS's history is the hate they received and how much of an outsider BTS was and still is. ARMY is a reflection of BTS. BTS and ARMY often mirror each other.
Despite the hardhips and also the nastiness and meanness towards BTS they have made it...BTS was determined to succeed and here we are 2023 celebrating their 10th Anniversary..kudos to 7 humble respectful hardworking guys and their manager who really started from scratch so to speak💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
There are so many people who benefit from BTS’ success but will vehemently deny that BTS is making the path easier for others to succeed. These same people are also content in allowing BTS to be the face of K-POP when it comes to receiving the bulk of the hate, racism and xenophobia. Imagine how much more success they could achieve if there wasn’t a constant line of people and businesses actively trying to make them fail?
THANK YOUUU for this video!! from next time, though, i'd highly suggest watching the 'rise of bangtan' chapter AFTER listening to the album since it spoils almost full songs most of the time (and as a sidenote: please know that although the 'rise of bangtan' series is definitely very well edited & stuff, most army don't support their creator anymore since she said some really weird shit recently lolll) see you tomorrow (hopefully) teehee
So excited for you to follow The Rise of Bangtan and discover their music from the beginning!!! Thank you so much Tribe Loui for your sincere and cheerful reactions 😊 Your videos bring me so much happiness :) Borahae ♡
9:20 Well in case if you have any misunderstandings no armys were not the one making those accusations and threats why would army do that? These are all other fandoms of different kpop groups.
Seeing you watch and learn this was validating because my reaction was yours except in real time (I’ve been an army since late 2015 so I’ve seen it all 😅). The melon call center call is always a favorite of mine… so sad that they cut the call center person going “it’s internal data. I-N-T-E-R-N-A-L.” I’ve been loving the journey you’ve been going on and appreciate your interest in not only the members group/individual projects, but the history as well. Seeing someone genuinely enjoy and love the music, and not use army views for attention has been refreshing and please know it is so appreciated by all of us on Twitter. 💜 Hope you continue to enjoy and have fun on your journey as an army 💜
I’ve only watched the hardships video once until today watching it with you, And I still fast forwarded. It makes me sick and sad for them. How can you bully someone as precious and hardworking and humble as them, when they’re just young boys?Mad respect for them and the ARMY who endured with them and for them, if not for that I wouldn’t have found them when I finally did. Sometimes people are just so hateful and miserable. I’m blessed and thankful to live in the time of BTS, I wish I could’ve been there from day one but I know I’ll support and love from here on out💜
I'm one of the veteran Army's......been with them since before their official debut and I'm an American. I was blessed to find them right away and knew immediately how special they were and I remember thinking, these amazing men just has to make it big and be known to the world and I cannot describe to you how I felt when it happened and their incredible rise is still going strong! I will be with BTS forever!
I’m so excited that you started the Rise of Bangtan!! My favourite series and you will learn to really appreciate who they are and their journey. Thx!!
Ever since I’ve become an ARMY it really feels like BTS keep being put through the ringer, and as a fan, and someone who looks up to them and is inspired by them it’s hard to see, especially knowing that it’s worse for them behind the scenes than just what we’re exposed to second hand. I became an ARMY in 2018. Three months before the White Paper Project was released. It was experiencing everything bad but also good all at once right off the bat, but I think it reinforced a protective side of me for them immediately while showing me what it meant to be an ARMY and how strong the community was that had been built around the unstoppable force that is BTS. It felt like being a part of something bigger than just a fan of a music group. When BTS go through these hardships ARMY often shoulder them with the band hoping to alleviate and do what we can, so a lot of these things feel personal even to me. One thing I can say from watching them endure and thrive in the last 5 years I’ve been here, no matter what they’re put through, they only ever seem to come out of it even stronger. As much as I wish I could take all the pain away and prevent these things from having ever happened, it’s a HUGE part of their success story and who they are. They are truly incredible and inspiring humans. Their genuine and humble attitudes and vulnerable transparency in them being themselves and just normal everyday humans who make music and will continue to propel them forward.
I'd definitely watch a kdrama with you. Edit: 😭 one can tell you're a K-newbie cause we've mastered the art of eating, watching and reading captions at the same time. It's a super saiyan skill one might say
Pausing the video real quick to say I absolutely love OT7 and will defend them even after the day comes when they may no longer be doing music (which I hope is very, very far in the future). I have to say my Hobi biased heart took full appreciation of your reaction to the horrible hashtags made about him early on. I don’t know how people can hate on these 7 men for no legitimate reason. They just want to make music and spread a good message. We need good people like them in the world, there is already too much that is not good. Anyway, back to the video for me. Loui, as always, you’re doing an amazing job! So glad to have found you from the J Cole collab. 💜
Those Gdragon bots are everywhere, which sucks because Gdragon really was/is a big part of k-pop's legacy. It took me over 2 years to find that out though because I was so put off by the bots.
at the end of the day all those fandom digged the graves of their own group’s success, BTS and ARMY raised and became legends while their faves are slowly disbanding. whatever you plant, you collect.
01:03:24 If you compare, these girls loathed the time as trainees. Whereas whenever you hear bangtan speak abou tit, they say of course it was hard, but they are grateful for it. Even trainees that didn't make it, people who shared months and maybe years around with the 7 members, they are not bitter, they don't show any remorse about not being selected or having "spent" their time for nothing. So BigHit was doing something right. The usual trainee boarding school she's talking about is not the poor version, but having 2-3 roommates from the get go. Not being squeezed in a 10 sq feet room with 6 other guys.
The gdragon u mentioned u don't care to know about - and thank u cuz same lol - is part of the group wich one of the members sibblings liked that stupid publication. NO SINGAL, they call hard work a NO SIGNAL sign. I had a pokerface in that part
As a 2016 ARMY, I got so burnt out back in the day on Twitter seeing all the nonstop hate from antis that I still to this day don't use really use the platform, or I stay away from kpop Twitter completely. I'll never forget when BTS was attacked for using the word "naega" a common word in Korean that means "you", because it sounds like the n word here. Fucking exhausting talking to people who were saying WELL IT SOUNDS LIKE A BAD WORD HERE THEY SHOULDNT SAY IT AT ALL
and we have to keep in mind that the video really named only a small percentage of what is really happening and how many people are hating on BTS. Especially radio stations , TV shows and the people writing awful things about Jimin
agreed! like seeing all the different kinds of twitter hate real time was appalling because it wasn't just a couple of people, it seemed like there were always big communities dedicated to making the boys suffer and it's sad that it was bad enough that bts now comment on receiving trauma from it.
The name being blurred in the video is EXO a group from one of the big 3 kpop entertainment companies. Their fans has always been vile towards bts. Their fans was the one who planned the break the wings project, making fun of taehyung's grandma and they were also one of the fandoms that accused bts of chart manipulation when they won their 1st music show win. They filed a petition to the blue house to take back bts' daesang(grand prize) during the award show. They were one of the fandoms that trended the plagiarism hashtag against bts.
15:33 the blurred name is EXO... EXO fans, blackpink, BigBang, TWICE, NCT fans, they were in the “destroy BTS comeback project” along with other kpop fandoms.
thank you for the video ! hope you will get to watch the source materials for the projects you've included here, one day, too; it is a lot (...if one is to delve into the entirety of bangtan bomb & bts episode & vlog repertoire, for example. Whew) but it is worth it, especially the docuseries/documentaries - since you get to see the story of bangtan told by bangtan themsleves, and in the way they want it to be told. truly one of my favourite types of content they gift us with. can't wait to see you explore more of their craft and genuine love for music, arts, and armys!!!!🫂✨ keep up the good work💜
Loving all of your reactions since the beginning of your BTS journey! And would TOOOOTALLY love watching kdrama reactions as well! Just a small tip though, if you’ll be doing some kdrama reactions in the near future make sure you keep an eye on which ones others have posted on TH-cam. Ive seen a few channels worry about copyright strikes after reactions to certain dramas. Just trying to keep you safe! For you and the tribe ❤
25:05 to add: the shirt situation didn't just cause cancelations of broadcasts. "conservatives" makes it sound lighter than it was but bts and jimin specifically were harassed by essentially japanese neo-nazis, not to mention japanese armys were threatened for liking bts. the shirt jimin wore represented the end of japans colonial rule over korea and sk/japan have never had a great relationship.
they complain a lot about bang pd on the trainee's christmas song but ironically that just shows how good their relationship is LMAO cause no horrible boss would allow their employees to complain and make fun of him like that. I like the contrast between what idols of other companies say they went through and what bts experienced cause there is similarities but also differences
3 pictures that makes me cry knowing the back story: Jungkook holding the back of hamburgers, AHL ep.1 Jungkooks Ironman socks, Jimins selca in the Blood& sweat and tears era
I love you so much tribe loui... my purple blooded brother just like me fr< since u get into bts any other k-artists never hit the same, bc bts is literally doing it all like
everyone, i already told loui that i was referring to the rise of bangtan series regarding the accuracies and stuff!! this video was very accurate!!

Thank you Ryker for guiding Tribe Loui! You're doing God's work for borahae-land! 💜
Thank u Ryker for the videos u been sending to Johnathan. Several of them were first watches for me
hii ryker! Thankyou so much for all your hard work. Otsukare!!
Thanks for sending all those clips to him! So many I’ve never seen before! I’m glad you are guiding him through this journey! Borahae!
"Death threats against JIMIN? That's like saying you're gonna slash up the Mona Lisa."
This is one of your most quotable reactions 🤌🏽
Tribe Loui making fun of antis is one of the best things to happen today
It feels sooooooo gooooood 🤭😁💜
Legit just made my day!
Yeah he definitely misunderstood what that racist no-name was saying 😂
Yes, it was a back-handed (racist) compliment
this !!
@@WhalienDNA he needs to see boracity of boybands XDDD I love that one
I agree 💜
Agreed
this!
Yeh he misunderstood that because why ARMY do that we are their fans
yes, yes - i think he missed the point where it's ppl outside of ARMY (kpopies / kpop fans / trolls) that attack BTS so ruthlessly over any little thing...
EDIT: Thanks for clarifying the misunderstandings in your new video Tribe Loui
I think it's a great idea to watch one episode of Rise of Bangtan after you react to one comeback. Because the storyline really follows each of their comebacks so you'll be able to keep up with their growth as you react to each album.
this is such a great idea that’s how reactor jim games got into the tannies and it was much easier to see their growth in real time
Loui is like me in my baby army era saying hi to them everytime i see them😭😭 plsss so relatable
I still do 😭😭😭💜💜💜💜💜💜💜♾️
I still do, even more than before T_T and to photos... Like Yoongi after the concerts pics 👋

@@tribeloui2023 Hiii Tribe Louuiiiiii
I think you misunderstood at the 40:00 mark (not mad, just want to let you know) that pop group was saying they didn't think BTS should be nominated in the same pop categories as them, that BTS should be kept separate, because he believes a western or European group needs to be on top (the winners).
Yeah, every time that clip plays, i just rolled my eyes 🙄.
My heart always hurts for the past jin...he was so sad and self consciousm..I'm so glad he grew up to be who he is today
His Suchwita episode made my heart so happy. I love him.
Past jin and jhope really be hurting me the most
NGL That whole misogyny thing really got me. 😶
I get what you mean by knowing someone went through hardships though.
Ty for reacting 💜

hamburger thing still pisses me off😭😭😭 it seems so small but it happened during the year where people in the korean entertainment industry were increasingly vile and passive aggressive towards bts for literally no reason ☠️ they were like 2 decades older than him too bitter old hags
And he bought it with his own money, when he barely had money to feed himself 😢
Fighting! 💜

4:15 “Shut the front door” is a polite Australian way of saying “shut the fuck up”
Haha as an Aussie I can 100% confirm. It's like "Nah yeah" means "yes" and "yeah nah" means no
Even though I personally do not hold grudge with any fandom, even if they spout nonsense about these boys, I just can't help but feel some kind of hosility towards the Exols.
They are still the same, now that they have a comeback they are back at hating BTS on Twitter every day
Exo-Ls are still the same they didn't change !!
They still spread hate towards our boys and accuse them for plagiarism everyday in Twitter.
even if they apologize (ik they will never)we will never forgive them. Exo-Ls and blinks have done worst to our boys we can never forgive them
whats crazy is the seo taeji passed on the torch to BTS literally plus theyve performed together it was amazing
(also, the rise of bangtan includes lots of spoilers of their albums and songs, so i’d recommend to proceed w caution hahahh and if u want to have a more complete experience meanwhile listening their albums i’d watch the practice dances/choreos of their songs if they have one. if you’d like that)
thank you for the content! as always it’s truly amazing

9:14 tribe loui you gotta understand, they're seven guys, the torch has to be big! sometimes we fumble with it a little bit but we're fine overall i promissseeee
but also, whatever other fandoms come up with to hate on bts got nothing to do with us, they literally go every once in a while poking the bear (that's us) with a stick and then have the gall to say we started it
WAKE UP EVERYONE NEW TRIBE VIDEO ‼️‼️‼️
I'm up! Just finished watching this video. 😂💜
(but to answer your question it was mainly exo/exols and bigbang/vips)
Thank you for being there for our beautiful angels all these years💜
Hiii Tribe Loui...
One of the reasons I enjoy watching your reactions are your clapbacks to antis/haters lol keep 'em coming!
haha it's nice to see you finding some humour in blind hate bc those people are truly ridiculous, i love it!
I love your laugh. It is distinctly Loui. 💜Borahae. Thank you for always bringing Army great content.
Omgg you started rise of bangtan lets go!!! Also can't wait for live performances reaction!!
I CANT BELIEVE YOU STUMBLED ONTO THE EPIC DOCUSERIES
This!!.. Ahh my tears😭😭😭..but, still, thank you so much for watching this with us,, 🥺

1:44 the best album (dark & wild in MY opinion) being recorded in a garage is kinda insane to me me 😭
fr every time I listen to anything from Dark & Wild (which I believe is the best as well) I just sit back and think “how was this masterpiece recorded in a freaking garage”
*partly in a garage (since they couldn't afford to pay for a studio in LA) and partly in a studio that they got to borrow
I love how unfiltered you are. I know we are supposed to be above it all but sometimes I cuss at the tv when I watch this stuff.
im a 2015 army and oh boy... i dont even think a video can cover the amount of things bts and army have gone through, 2015-2018 were hell, then again, when u are as successful as bts is it is expected for people to try and stir shit up. u would be surprised at the amount of popular idols that have been openly bitter towards bts, peers in the industry that to this day don't show any respect, its sad but it wont stop bts from being on the top. it has been 10 years of hardships but also beautiful moments, lets get to 20 with bangtan and army stronger than ever !
For a long time I wanted Loui to watch the Rise of Bangtan. Wonderful!
Whenever i watch this video i end up crying 😔
Even after success they receive hate everyday just for existing !!
THANK YOUUU for this video!! from next time, though, i'd highly suggest watching the 'rise of bangtan' chapter AFTER listening to the album since it spoils almost full songs most of the time (and as a sidenote: please know that although the 'rise of bangtan' series is definitely very well edited & stuff, most army don't support their creator anymore since she said some really weird shit recently lolll)
see you tomorrow (hopefully) teehee
So excited for you to follow The Rise of Bangtan and discover their music from the beginning!!!

9:20 Well in case if you have any misunderstandings no armys were not the one making those accusations and threats why would army do that? These are all other fandoms of different kpop groups.
I really appreciate that you took the time to listen and carefully read during the hardships video.
Seeing you watch and learn this was validating because my reaction was yours except in real time (I’ve been an army since late 2015 so I’ve seen it all 😅). The melon call center call is always a favorite of mine… so sad that they cut the call center person going “it’s internal data. I-N-T-E-R-N-A-L.”
I’ve been loving the journey you’ve been going on and appreciate your interest in not only the members group/individual projects, but the history as well. Seeing someone genuinely enjoy and love the music, and not use army views for attention has been refreshing and please know it is so appreciated by all of us on Twitter. 💜
Hope you continue to enjoy and have fun on your journey as an army 💜
I hollered when you did the Anti-voice. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if that was how they sound like 😂
Also I'm LIVING for your anti voice!!!! PLEASE MORE OF THIS 🤣🤣
I’ve only watched the hardships video once until today watching it with you, And I still fast forwarded.

I'm listening to R.O.D. by GD ft. Lydia Paek as I'm writing this lol
@Jane Tuss Awe cool! I will too lol
Rise of Bangtan is one of the best series ever! I wish this person can win an Oscar!
at the end of the day all those fandom digged the graves of their own group’s success, BTS and ARMY raised and became legends while their faves are slowly disbanding. whatever you plant, you collect.
waaait you saying that we started talking about mental health in 2020 and also because of the covid is soo true i never realized that daaamnnn
“I will scrap with you with my eyeshadow on” is such a hilariously great diss
Finally a video I can watch after having The Worst Day of The Week ™️ 😭
I've never seen a reactor watching this video with this much joy, and laughter 😂
thank you for the video ! hope you will get to watch the source materials for the projects you've included here, one day, too; it is a lot (...if one is to delve into the entirety of bangtan bomb & bts episode & vlog repertoire, for example. Whew) but it is worth it, especially the docuseries/documentaries - since you get to see the story of bangtan told by bangtan themsleves, and in the way they want it to be told. truly one of my favourite types of content they gift us with. can't wait to see you explore more of their craft and genuine love for music, arts, and armys!!!!🫂✨ keep up the good work💜
Not me literally shutting my front door when you said Shut the Front Door. Lmaoo
Thank you so much for these reactions!!!💜
Best morning gift 💜🤗
Loving all of your reactions since the beginning of your BTS journey! And would TOOOOTALLY love watching kdrama reactions as well! Just a small tip though, if you’ll be doing some kdrama reactions in the near future make sure you keep an eye on which ones others have posted on TH-cam. Ive seen a few channels worry about copyright strikes after reactions to certain dramas. Just trying to keep you safe! For you and the tribe ❤
1:07:26 Jungkook was actually 13 but his Korean age was 16
25:05 to add: the shirt situation didn't just cause cancelations of broadcasts.
I love you so much tribe loui... my purple blooded brother just like me fr< since u get into bts any other k-artists never hit the same, bc bts is literally doing it all like
the song at 1:02:40 was We are bulletproof (pt. 1) it's not on streaming platforms officially
Tribe loui I'm late bcs i was busy yesterday
Thank you for this
