The cast of HBO's 'Girls' join The Hollywood Reporter for a game of 'Fishing For Answers.' Kirke and Williams say that people constantly refer to them by their characters' names, while Mamet and Dunham try to determine how many times they have appeared nude on the HBO series.

There are these "hate-comments" on every single video that features Lena Dunham. It's like - why do you even waste your time like this? There are sooo many celebrities I dislike but I would never be that bored to comment on all the videos they appear in... Concentrate on something positive & productive maybe?
Because the Internet makes it easy for them. They're nothing, though. They'll never have the success and money as Lena Dunham. She's riding in a limo, they're riding a bike...

I really love Andrew Rannels! Somethimes I just rewatch episodes of the show because he is so sassy, funny and handsome
he is amazing !! Much needed comic relief when I was crying over Adan & Hannah hehe.

They're bad press.
It's not only this, if you watch other things like Q&A sessions with directors of films he's in, he doesn't talk a lot then either and waits for the director or other actors to answer the questions. The directors and actors make it into a joke by asking him if he wants to answer. He talks when he's directly addressed though, and he's very polite.
He seems like the type of actor who's completely dedicated to his craft but, if given the option, will gladly step aside and allow his co-stars to deal with the media.

I'm sorry but I don't get why people hate Lena?
Im a fan of lena dunham for obvious reasons(i havent read her book) but there are a few obvious reasons why people would find her unlikable. She's a wasp for sure and with the lack of representation of ethnic diversity on the show. She's a pioneer and they are usually loved or hated plus she's a chubby girl with talent and power who is flawed and brave and loves herself. Thats threatening for people who aren't feminists for people who believe their beauty and worth depends on how thin they are and her being a chubby girl leaves her with no room for other flaws. Haters compound all this with their dislike of hannah as to be indicative of lenas character because she couldn't possibly be a good actor on top of being the show creator, a writer a producer and director. then there is the hillary connection which i dont like at all either but you dont see anyone hating george clooney or julian moore or any of the other celebs who were hillary supporters(dont know if moore was in the primaries).
They're probably also jealous that she got to do 6 years of sex and relationship scenes with Adam Driver.

I love her though!
I disagree with her political stances and some of her view points. But she has a lot of talent which can't be disputed. Sorry folks but just because you think she sucks or isn't your cup of tea this girl can write. And as I've stated not into all her political stances what so ever. But that does not take away from her gift of writing. Also...she looks fantastic here.

Allison is SO beautiful, it's unreal
She is looking more and more anorexic by the day, it's horrifying, plus - she's so insecure, like her eyes are just begging 'am I pretty girl now? am I? am I??'. I think she's an awful role-model. I am loving jemimas style and vibes though, her self security is true beauty. Allison is just an underweight wannabe.

She's always looking to Zosia Jemima or Lena because she needs constant affirmation ughhh I don't even think she's pretty ? She's just not gross. Jemima is the real prize. She's secure strong etc I could go on and on
carolinecolumbine also Allison is the only gir who wasn't cast for her talent she was cast because Lena seen a picture of her and thought she was pretty. Jemima Lena adores and knew she was what the show needed and then zosia sent in a casting tape and worked her ass off for Shoshs part
