My earthquake story--- Im in my early 20's and go to vegas for a cousins wedding. To save cash I share a room with my sister and brother in law and mother. I get piss drunk and go pass out in the room after the ceremony. Later that night around 2 am, a 6.5 hits 29 palms in California and is felt all the way in vegas. My mom is woken up when the bed starts shaking and her first thought is Im sitting there cranking it in the bed next to her until she realizes Im still passed out and the whole room is actually shaking. I dont find out about what happened till the next morning amd she tells me what she thought and all I could do is shake my head ( the one on my shoulders) and say " come on mom, Id at least have the decency to go into the bathroom" and just started laughing. We still laugh about it 20 years later.
Had to go back to the last EP and re listen to the Fat James story lol. "I PLAYED A PRANK ON YOU!!" "We're more than friends Dad, we're like brothers".
Its crazy that I had a roommate EXACTLY like Steve. Did the whole loud laugh thing to make you ask what, hated being alone, lights HAD to be on. Worst of all the muhfucker loved cooking with fish oil. Glad somebody else had to go through what I went through. -AP
