Replace fuel bowl filter and heater below it. You probably have sludge down there in the bottom as well. When my fuel bowl heater went, it blew the fuse to ecm and motor died on left lane of the freeway. The new heaters are built much better.
I was watching the video and wondering why y'all were complaining about their trailer loading (having only saw the first part of the video where they loaded it properly). Then I got to the part where they were using a ratchet strapped motor with no brakes and nearly crushed their tow vehicle. Good Lordy they're lucky they didn't die or cause more property damage.
Yikes, that’s entirely too much starting fluid. You’re lucky the glow plugs didn’t ignite it. You only need one short small shot, and if it doesn’t start with that, DO NOT use more. I promise it will damage the engine. This whole video is embarrassing. Just completely lacks any common sense at all.
Never ever use staring fluid in a truck with glow plugs and it’s extremely bad for the engine just bleed the fuel system use the glow plugs and crank it

Just because the wait to start light goes out, doesn't mean the glow plugs stop glowing. They usually stay on for a few minutes

If you turn the engine over it will pop the the pump out it works on a cam. It's best to do it from the harmonic balancer.
That method works well when they are not very stuck, for some reason this one was very stuck.

I had a truck in the shop that they did that when it back fired it Brock the crank shaft but that was on a 6.5 diesel never seen a 7.3 do that yet
