Chandra Reum Born With Cerebral Palsy Shares Her Life-Long Journeys Disability

My name is Chandra Reum . I went to school in Colorado. I grew up in Greeley Colorado. My hobbies , special Olympics I did track basketball golf gymnastics horseback riding Guitar piano lessons. My mom took me to all of my activities. I have a step dad bio dad . I don't talk to my bio dad that much. I have a sister kalinda and brother in law named Brett . I have two Nieces name vesper and neve. I have cousins Bethany and Sarah that live In Denver Colorado my aunt and uncle live in Parker Colorado.
Debby Merrill my mom and my step dad ken got married Jan 2004 there wedding was very nice it was held in San Diego. The three of us were very close we went traveling together did a lot of stuff . My mom loved going to the beach and the mountains. She loves when we go up to Estes park .
My mom got very sick she died of adrenal cancer . She fought very hard. Ken and and my family took care of her . She passed away March of 2007 she died at the age 54 she was amazing person she was a librarian when I was at christia mcaulffe elementary school.
My b day is feb 28 1990 I got Diagnosed Cerebral Palsy. When I was born . I went to speech therapy when I was young I Stutter a lot when I was little and in my adult life . Sometime my friends will test me and I don’t like that makes me feel bad inside . I also got diagnosed with hypertension cardiomyopathy may or June 2019 , that kind of made me scared , I went to Mayo Clinic to get testing done. And I had to choose do I want to live or die . I wanted to live the best life . So I went through surgery and put in a Defibrillator. Now I live in Billings Montana livening in my own place have nice church to go to . Live the life I can right now. Do to COVID I am not able to work right now cause I am high risk but once I get the vaccine I am hoping that I am able to go back to work at dollar tree. Not doing special Olympics at the moment but once this COVID thing gets done hope that I can go back to rockers dance team and do track and golf . My other hobbie is diamond painting and tye dye at the moment I like doing that . I also am in coupe of bible study classes online that I like too . I have joined past couple of years I have done in memory of my mom I have done really for life to celebrate her life . I have really enjoyed doing that with my old church that I use to go to and I did it last year. Her birthday is aug 25 and I do claw and ice cream or do something fun to celebrate with that .
